The device measures in inches and is designed to be placed on the floor to measure standing up. It has a heel cup to account for the ankle profile and is suitable for adults and children.
Easy and simple to use in the comfort of your own home.
Place the device on the floor and stand with heel in the cup. Make sure that the weight is fully on the foot being measured. Lower the measurer bar to rest gently on the longest toe.
The length of the foot is shown by the position of the white measurer bar.
The minimum length for the ideal shoe, allowing for a 0.3 inch growing room, is shown by the arrow in the middle of the measuring window.
- Measure feet when the day is over when feet are at their largest size of the day.
- Measure while wearing the socks child will be wearing the shoes with.
- After measuring both feet use the length of the bigger one to find the shoe size.
- Allow some space in front of your kid’s toe, the rule of thumb is the width of your finger.
- Make sure to measure while the child is standing up.

I read some other review that mentioned it was not accurate and ignored it. Returning. It is accurate for women, but not for kid sizes.I printed a page from Stride Rite and taped it to a cardboard. Much better and accurate.

Do not buy, the men’s and children sizes are off by two sizes, the only size that was correct was the women’s.

It does the job accurately, but if you have a bunch of kids, I don't think it's sturdy enough to survive more than the occasional use.

This does the job of sizing your foot. The only thing I dislike is that the slider moves incredibly easily so once you measure your foot you have to get on the ground to read it or very very carefully pick it up perfectly level so the slider doesn't move away from the measurement.

Great product! Checked it on my husband, on my 3 years old son & on myself and the size was accurate! This foot measuring device is accurate and very easy to use.You just need to put tour foot on it with your heel touching the back, move the white part to the end of your toe and it will give your shoe size. This is great to have for online shopping! It comes in a black drawstring case.I’m really happy with how easy it is to use and how accurate it is.

My poor kids were wearing shoes that were too small and I had no idea until I bought this. We were measuring by tracing on paper - not easy with toddlers. I searched for one of these foot measurers that had inches on it because that's what most kids' size charts reference. It's accurate. The white bar slides a little too easily so you have to carefully hold it in place while you're noting the size. Good quality.
