doesn't close tightly but it works for what I bought it for and it fits quite a bit under the net

All of the screws, washers, and nuts are rusted. One side had completely come apart due to a missing hex nut. Most of the basket material is brittle and damaged, along with obviously shoddy "craftsmanship" leaving holes at every connection point and throughout that would easily allow any manner of bugs to come right in. None of this was caused from mishandling during shipping. The seller put this broken, rusted piece of junk in a box and sent it to their customer. That's just shady business BestChanceUS.

You need two hands to get it to close properly. There are big gaps in the wicker. The closing mechanism is a piece of elastic which fell off as soon as I touched it.

Works amazing especially because I can have a fugus gnat problem during summers from my house plants. It also looks great as a decoration!

I bought this to help keep those tiny fruit flies out and they still can get it in. The loop and button don't line up perfectly so unless you really fiddle with it, one side rests higher than the other. Plus there are gaps by the side hinge area that would allow bugs in. It has definitely helped to reduce the buggies but its a bit meh.

I have had a fruit fly problem every summer until winter. I tried many things, sprays, fly paper, fruit fly trap ,etc. Nothing ever helped. This basket amazed me. Within 3 days all the flies have disappeared. Not an air tight container, no chemicals, just simplicity. Highly recommend. My fruit has never stayed fresher.
