Sono un fotografo professionista ed uso flash Elinchrom ( sia in studio che in location ) per le foto mentre tutti gli illuminatori Led per il video hanno attacco Bowens. Con questo accessorio posso montare le lanterne e piccoli softbox bowens sui mei flash elinchrom senza dover avere dei doppioni.Penso a breve ne prenderò un altro per poter essere a posto con le spedizioni di bagagli in aereo con la mia attrezzatura.

I have a pair of Calumet monolights that have Elinchrom style fittings. Most affordable softboxes etc. come with Bowens fittings. I bought a Phot-R brand softbox from Amazon, and needed to be able to adapt it, so I bought this. It works fine. I also have a Neewar octobox which had a speedlight fitting clamp thing rather than a Bowens, and I wanted to use that on the monolights, too. I had intended to buy just the Elinchrom attachment part, available separately on Amazon for a few pounds, but that item went up to over £20, and as this came in a shade under, I bought a second one of these and dismantled it to get the Elinchrom mount part, so now I have a spare Bowens mount to add to the collection of a couple of others I have from previously purchased speedlight unmbrella/softbox mounts.Overall, nothing much to say about this device, it's solid, it does what it's supposed to, both ends fit the things they claim to fit and if you're happy with the price there's no reason whatsoever not to buy it if you need it. The male Elinchrom mount and the female Bowens mount can easily be detached from each other if you need either part separately.Totally satisfied with the two I bought.

It works fine with Elinchrom reflectors and snoots, but it wont attach to a 27" Rotalux or larger.

This is a very well made adapter. I am currently using this to hold an optical snoot with a heavy zoom lens to my Elinchrom studio strobe. There is a set screw to lock in the Bowens Mount. The Elinchrom side fit without issue, I have had other speedrings that were very tight and cut with poor tolerances. This feels rock solid and will probably last a long time.

I have used Elinchrom flashes for more than 25 years, the same flash heads since the begining. In the last year I had to renew some equipment and it forced me to buy some bowens mount heads and accesories. I was very sad, thinking I had to renew all my gear and spend a lot of money on int. The two adaptors a bought from this brand, (elinchrom to Bowens, and Bowens to Elinchrom) made possible for me to exchange everything between the two brands, and now I can focus on just expand gear possibilities.
