This is a very well made, very realisticpuppet. My only complaint was the pouch for your hand was a bit small. But, I do have a large hand, so keep that in mind.Excellent puppet, in any case.

This product was quality made. It made a lovely gift for my son. We have purchased several Folkmantis puppets from Amazon over the last 10 years and we have been consistently pleased. This was an adorable edition to his collection.

It is a big hand puppet for a kid, but my 6 year old loved it. You can move the mouth and the front paws. It’s super cute and great quality!

This puppet is so realistic I do a double take when it's left on the sofa. My cat thinks it's prey. Folkmanis produces such beautiful quality puppets. My son is in love and we use it to read stories together. The mouth articulates, but is best for a small hand. My husband has a hard time. The arms articulate as well, but my hand is too small to do that and the mouth at the same time. No matter. I'm still giving 5 stars as it makes our reading time so much fun.

I just received two of these puppets today and was pleasantly surprised. After reading certain reviews, I was a little worried but they both look like the photo and more importantly, they both look real with a little tweaking. Someone had mentioned the mouth being open. On one puppet, the mouth was open yet the other had a mouth that was almost shut. Because I'm not using mine for a puppet, I just stitched the mouth closed. The other small issue is the fur around the eyes and on the face. It can make the eyes appear too small/mostly covered so you can either snip the fur or use some gel to smooth down the fur. Cottontail faces aren't that poofy either. As for the general proportioning, very good. Criticism is the foot size is a tiny bit larger in terms of width and the fur color has a slight amount of 'ivory' throughout. Also, the shading is a little much but not awful. This would be the size of a large adult cottontail. The fur has a more mottled appearance to it, like some of the fur coloring I've seen on cottontails when they are perhaps shedding a winter coat. The shape of the body/pose, the eyes, ear length, leg length etc all are realistic. I was very impressed with the detail and the quality of workmanship. These puppets would be good enough to use as decoys if you have a hawk or owl that likes to hunt and you want to fool it without harming it (much better than many of the decoys used for hunting). I give the designers of this puppet an A for the attention to detail and realism.

This Cottontail Rabbit puppet is cute, because it sits up a bit, but as a puppet, it's difficult for me to get my fingers comfortably in the legs. I purchased this and the Floppy Bunny Rabbit Puppet. I prefer the Floppy Bunny Rabbit Puppet, because the fur is softer and the puppet features are easier to manipulate. I think the Floppy Bunny Rabbit Puppet is cuter and more cuddly, and feels natural as a puppet on your lap,and that this one doesn't, because of the angle of the legs. I just can't sit my hand comfortably in the legs and head. This one does look more realistic, and my daughter loves it. Both rabbits were out, and she walked over to this one.

I just had to write a review once I got this puppet! I was looking long & hard for a realistic looking bunny to have for some Easter picture-taking, and boy, does this one fit the bill!!! I got it a couple of days ago, and I still startle myself as I pass it by, because every time I think it is the real animal.I had pulled it out of the package I set it in a basket before my kids got home on the day the shipment arrived, and they thought i got them a REAL rabbit!!! LOL! This one is sooooo worth the money - great quality & softness of the fur, the eyes are so realistic, and if you move it just so while cradling the puppet in your arms, you are sure to full many a kids that it is the real thing!!! Just plain PERFECT! My kids want to hold it all the time now.PS: FYI the puppet is a 'rabbit' size not 'bunny' size.

This puppet is very realistic looking. I love it, but I think my six-year-old is a little scared of it because it looks so alive. You can use it as a puppet and make its nose, mouth, and front legs wiggle. It is not floppy, so it can also sit up and look like a real bunny. I feel like kids should not play rough with this puppet because it might not hold up to a lot of wear-and-tear. Like I said earlier, I love it and find the puppet to be high-quality and so cute. I'm so glad we bought this for our family.
