This glow-in-the-dark paint is incredible! It’s super easy to apply, and once it dries, the glow is so vibrant and fun. I used it on some of my kids' room décor, and they absolutely love it. It charges up during the day and gives off a really cool glow at night. The paint goes on smoothly, and the color is nice and bright. It’s perfect for creating unique designs, whether you want a subtle glow or something more eye-catching. Just make sure to give it enough time to "charge" with light, and the results are fantastic. I made this box for my buddy with the Folk Art glow paint. After three coats you can see the effect clearly! The color is amazing and it will glow for a while with very little charge! I have only charged it via uv flashlight but a few seconds of that and this stuff glows for a good while!

This top coat is a lot of fun. It dries completely clear and really glows! We used it for several art projects leading up to Halloween. My kids and I have enjoyed finding more things to make glow in the dark.

I note people often have issues with the consistency (thickness) of this type paint. It is thin and not necessarily easy to use... I pour it out and let it get thick on whatever I'm painting with it. This a uses this product AND some glow powders to adjust color (see picture. Made this myself from a tree in the yard!).

This is advertised as FolkArt glow in the dark acrylic paint, 8 oz, neutral 8 fl oz after 8 coats the last one I literally dipped the brush and dripped it on. Still did not cover I bought acrylic brush’s so that was not the problem. This does not dry to a smooth finish as advertised. “GLOWING FINISH - This brilliant acrylic paint dries to a smooth finish - perfect for adding a pop of glowing color to all your DIY projects. Simply place your project in light to charge”. Defiantly not for use on multiple surfaces –as advertised” use this bright acrylic paint on a variety of surfaces such as Wood, Paper, Canvas, Styrofoam, Paper Mache, And So Much More” I was using it to make a glow in the dark fishing rod which is made of fiberglass. These are the steps I took to prep before I painted. I first cleaned the rod with acid tone, then Using 1500 Grit Sandpaper to ruff up the coating on the fishing rod. Then again I cleaned with acid tone. I then let it dry overnight which was not necessary since acid tone evaporates fast than you can clean a large section. When I saw that even after 8 coats I thought it was because of what I was painting, so I tried it on card board with same results. I used a 200000 Lumen flash light and tried to get it to glow in the dark 15 minutes of holding the flash light on the paint there was not even a hint of glowing in the dark. I don’t understand all the positive feedback for this product I would not recommend it. Unfortunately I can’t return because I opened and use some. I also included a photograph of one coat on card board.

In order to get the glow u want u require to apply a thick coat which is not easy cause it doesn’t go like paint , so I figured out you need to apply a minimum of 4 coats to get the result .also the glow doesn’t last long but that’s like any other glow paint ,maybe I’ll try neon instead ,

I used this product on a pair of running shoes I had painted, to add some glow in the dark polka dots. It was very easy to use, however, it did take a good 5 coats in order to get a good base for the UV light to absorb into. After letting the paint sit under a bright LED lamp, the polka dots on the shoes were very bright in a dark room. FolkArt has been around for a very long time, & this product did exactly what it said it would. I highly recommend using it for anything you need to glow in the dark.
