I gifted this to my pre-teen grandchild and it wasn't a hit at all. I was disappointed because I thought it would be a whole lot of fun. Win some, lose some. Maybe another child would love them.

These are so fun! And also challenging. I got them for my kids for Christmas but have found them very fun myself. These would be perfect for road trips or plane rides to keep kids entertained. I would say this would be good for Ages 7+

If you're an Origami enthusiast or even if you're not, I think you will find these stimulating, fun and refreshing. There are several levels of difficulty, but the advanced ones are pretty challenging. These are great.

I bought this for my kids and I, but I have been the only one to do any folds since Xmas. I love it, though! Some of the sheets are easy - it's very clear where you need to fold to make the picture. But others are more challenging. I am not spatially gifted, so I feel like these folding challenges help me build new neuro connections in my brain. Lol! You don't need much time to complete one, which is perfect for busy lives.

Very cool concept. Some puzzles are difficult but it’s supposed to test your wits. It is smaller than I had anticipated that’s the only thing I don’t like about it. Tests your mind gives it a workout definitely.

This was meant for a gift but was too embarrassed to gift it as it was rediculously small and cheap. Gave it to my daughter instead.

I bought this for my 11 year old son as a birthday present but I ended up enjoying it just as much as he did! When it first arrived it looked so small (my fault for not reading the dimensions) but the pages actually turned out to be the perfect size. The puzzles were easy enough to not take forever/get frustrated but challenging enough to keep his interest. The colors are vibrant and the paper is thick enough to hold its shape but not too thick to fold nice neat creases. I’m so happy to have found a non-electronic gift that the whole family can enjoy. (Pictured was one of our first attempts so it’s not perfect but still came out cute. I unfolded it afterwards so you can see). I’ll definitely be ordering the second Foldology set.

The images/puzzles printed on the paper are sometimes out of line and are lower resolution images. Great gift idea though

This is a great little logic game (little in size, not challenge difficulty). I enjoy origami and have played similar puzzles including Manifold by Brainwright, Color Fold by ThinkFun, and Fold by Fat Brain Toys. This game is very very similar to Manifold. I have not solved Challenge 100 in Manifold (or the 10 challenges prior), but I did solve Challenge 100 in Foldology (but I skipped to Challenge 100 from 31). My assessment is that Foldology is easier, but better quality, and more satisfying, than Manifold. The picture sections that you are tasked with connecting make the objective super clear, and these pictures are what make the puzzle easier, and more satisfying, than Manifold. I think it makes the puzzle more accessible to a wider audience. My dad once fiddled with Manifold, and though he seemed to generally understand what to do, I think he would have enjoyed connecting the images in Foldology more. The 4 inch squares are smaller than the average Origami paper (6 inches), but this makes is great for portability. You don't really need a flat surface for folding or making the creases, and can fiddle with the puzzles while you're on the couch, in the car, etc.The paper quality holds up well for the amount of folding required. In playing Challenge 100, I did start to see holes the size of a needle point appear in the center, but this did not impede my ability to finish solving the puzzle. This contrasts with Manifold, where much larger tears appeared as I struggled to solve the final challenges. With 100 challenges, this has a great play value for the price, and would make a unique gift for origami fans, or anyone who would enjoy mentally stimulating activity, and/or some practice with manual dexterity.
