I am return this but only because we have a Sleep Number bed and it would be a hassle to put it between the mattress and foundation due to the air hose and the magnets. It's the U-shape that makes it a pain. We want it for our bed for when our grand child sleeps with us. I get out of bed way early and want to be able to fold a rail up and keep her safe. I need to look for one with straight supports and not the U-shape. Very easy to put together and seemed good quality - it is this one and our particular mattress, don't go together.

This product was a little difficult to assemble but it worked great. The quality is nice, easy to fold down and kept my 1.5 year old grandson on the bed all night.

It is a perfect bed rail for keeping our Irish Setter from falling off of our bed, which is quite high.It is made well and the instructions were easy to follow.It arrived quickly and we are very pleased with the purchase.

The directions are HORRIBLE. What should have taken 30 mins ended up taking a little over 2 hours - it was insane.Once you get it assembled is is good but I almost returned it due to not being able to get it put together.They include a strap to make it more secure by wrapping the strap around a mattress - the strap will only fit around a single mattress. I use the bed rail to keep an ederly pet from falling off the bed so having it super secure is not a big deal for me. If you are getting it for a child then keep the strap size in mind.If you need to secure it around any other size mattress size you can eaily make your own strap, just look at what they give you and then recreate it from straps from Lowes or Home Depot.The 2 stars are becuse of the horrible directions and the short strap.

I purchased this for my dog that sleeps with me. She has developed some knee issues and is unsteady on her feet. This safety rail was perfect for keeping her from falling off the bed. I’m 63 female and had no problem putting it together. Please read the instructions. I ordered the King size and it fit my mattress perfectly. I would recommend this for children also. The rail folds down for easy access.

It works good I wish it was a little more stable tho it’s very shaky but it keeps him from rolling off the bed when asleep at night & that’s what I was looking for it may be more stable if my mattress wasn’t so thick but we have a super extra thick mattress so if u have one too just know it will work for those mattresses

It DOES NOT WORK FOR ALL BEDS the pictures are deceiving and you need to be 100% it works for your bed because some frames have bars that will interfere with this set up/it doesn't always align properly to your bed.It is also EXTREMELY unstable/will snap due to where the stress points are on this hinge. It broke after 2 months. It's also hard to put down because the buttons need to be hit at the same time (and if you aren't crazy tall - I'm 5'4 and could not reach both buttons at the same time making it very difficult especially if you have to do it quickly) and the buttons also stick/don't quite snap properly
