I bought this because someone is always fixing there car at my house, so I wanted something that was more comfortable to lay under a car. This product was not any different then laying on ground. The padding inside is just wadded up plastic ( I unzipped it to look).

This pad is nice, it folds down decently for storage, but it's pretty narrow. It is more comfortable than laying on the ground or a piece of cardboard, but for the price I think I would look for something else at a better value. The build quality seems solid so far though.

My dad is older but likes to work on cars and this is great for him. It is a little narrow if you're a bigger person might not be great. Folds up to sit or squat and adds nice cushion.

This has been even more handy than what I thought when I ordered it.Originally got it as extra padding on a creeper we use.Well I have found I used this quite a bit in the yard when setting up decorations for my Christmas display. So often I was kneeling to work on things that needed repair or just to get them in the ground better.Also used it in the house when had to be on the wooden floor kneeling to wrap presents.I keep finding more ways to use it than I ever dreamed i wouldIt is holding up wellFolds up and stores well in the closet when not using it.Ovrall am pleased with this product and how useful it has been.

The folding pad I received appears to be in spec with the measurements that are stated but my brain sees the pictures in the product listing and thinking it's wide. The pad is listed as 16" wide and to me that's useful but not ideal. The pad would had been much better at 20 to 24" wide by 48, and it wouldn't had hurt to be a full 2" thick. The pad I received does not lay flat but with use, I expect it will wear in where it does. Materials used appears to be the standard covering you see on stools and creepers but they really should had used a more durable material on one side at least for outside use like on pavement and rocks. Covering work but I feel it's easier to tear on rough areas like ones noted as is. I do like the zipper enclosed pouches, makes it easier to replace the padding if you feel that's needed. Product is not bad but needs to be slightly wider and it should lay flat from the start rather than having to break it in.

This foldable mechanics mat for garage work is just what we need. It’s long enough to lie down and exercise and slide it under our vehicle, so my husband can work on it and do necessary repairs. The length is great for both of us. I’m petite and my husband is much taller than I am and the length works well for both of us. It’s necessary to protect his back from the hard concrete pavement and it’s very firm and provides a good cushion to protect his back. It’s very lightweight and it’s very easy to move it, so we can exercise where we feel comfortable exercising. We highly recommend it for its tremendous value and it’s money well spent.
