Two things keep it from perfection - first is the price; $49 is ridiculous for a steamer. The second thing is that for that high of a price, I'd expect to see a bowl that fits the unique shape to put the rice in.Seriously, I'm just hoping I can find one of my bowls to fit in that pan *and* that will hold a family sized amount of rice. The rest of it is all great, *especially* the way it nests into a compact shape with the lid sitting lightly on top. I also really like the indentations in the bowls to hold the eggs as well as the time charts with three times depending on what tier any particular item is on.It's a touch screen programmer and there aren't really any recipes like you'd find with an instapot, but it does have timing guides (based on tier position) for most of the items you'd be putting in a steamer.

We did Chinese dumplings in this and they came out just like from a Chinese restaurant. We have only used one level of the trays so I don’t know yet how it would do using all three. But we are happy and the dumplings are good and a lot cheaper than take out.

Forgot to take pics, but this was a really cool item. It works great as a steamer, with stackable trays that go on top, you pour some water into the little bowl/reservoir and turn it on. Within minutes it's heating up the water and making it steam. I steamed some vegetables, the carrots and broccoli came out perfectly! It does heat up the kitchen, as the trays are vented, and steam has to go somewhere. But you kind of have to expect that. The other nice thing is how it condenses. The trays stack down into each other like russian nesting dolls, and the whole shebang condenses down to like 6-8 inches tall, which fits in a shelf or cabinet nicely.

This Company is my favorite, I actually have a knife set made by them and they cut flawlessly and stay sharp I have had and used them got 8 months now so I just knew I would love this FOHERE Food Steamer. The FOHERE Food Steamer is incredibly easy to use and offers great versatility for cooking a variety of foods. I had no trouble setting it up and used the 13.7QT capacity to cook fish in the bottom tier and vegetables in the second tier. Although I didn't use the third tier, I found that the steamer provides ample space for different ingredients. The vegetables came out perfectly, with an amazing flavor and texture, making it a great option for steaming veggies like potatoes, carrots, and broccoli. The ability to adjust the cooking time with the 60-minute timer and the 24-hour delay start timer is also a helpful feature. While the steamer excelled with vegetables, my experience with cooking fish was a bit more mixed. The salmon turned out perfect, but the tilapia didn’t fare as well. It came out mushy, and I wasn’t as satisfied with the texture, which was likely due to my choice of fish and personal preference for cooking methods. I ended up crisping the skin of the salmon in the air fryer for a bit more crunch, but overall, the salmon cooked well in the steamer. I wouldn't use it for tilapia again, but I would definitely continue using the steamer for vegetables and potatoes, as it really enhanced the taste and texture of those foods.Overall, I think the FOHERE Food Steamer is a great value for the price, especially considering its high-quality material and ease of use. It’s dishwasher-friendly, making it easy to clean, and I appreciate how straightforward it is to operate. While it might not be my go-to for all meats, particularly fish like tilapia, I will definitely continue using it for my veggies and other foods. It’s affordable, efficient, and does an excellent job steaming vegetables, making it a solid investment for anyone who enjoys healthy, steamed meals.

We got this electric steamer to replace a manual dial electric steamer. Our previous one had 2 stacking steamer basket that was clear/transparent. This product here has 3 baskets that is opaque. The 3 baskets are different sizes. You have to stack them in order. There is a label: 1, 2, 3. One is she smallest, 2 is a bit longer, and 3 is the longest. Because of the design, you must stack all 3 if you want to use the largest size steamer basket. If you try to stack 3 directly over the steamer, it will not work. One thing I like about this product is that you can collapse all 3 basket and lay it upside down over the steamer. This takes up less room when you are done using it.

I ordered this FOHERE Food Steamer for Cooking,13.7QT Vegetable Steamer with Stackable 3 Tiers through the VINE program. We used it for steaming vegetables (broccoli and asparagus); having used it for the first time, we set the timer for 26 minutes. I kept an eye on it to see how long it would take for our veggies to be done to our liking, especially since the different vegetables would likely be ready at different times. It took a little over a minute to see full steam streaming through the two (out of three) trays we used. But soon, both trays were opaque from the full steam streaming through them and spewing out of the breather holes on top. The asparagus was done (a little over-done) in ten minutes, while the broccoli took a little longer. We were impressed at the system's simplicity. 1. clean and set up the trays. 2. add water and see the level on the front of the machine next to the settings. 3. place veggies in trays, stack them in order by number (the number is conveniently stamped on the tray handle), and cover them with the lid. 4. set the timer and wait. It will take us a few tries to get the timing just right, but we will definitely continue to use this handy steamer.
