I should have paid closer attention to the pictures and description. I have a couple of smoke machines I bought a few years ago and have lost the remotes...of course. Anyway, the only wany to make them work is with a replacement dongle and remote, so I ordered this one. Turns out that even though it SAYS it works for my model, it doesn't. Mine has the style plug that looks like a PC power cable and this one is round. They're both 3 prong, but different shapes. So, this thing is useless for older machines. Sadly, for me, it probably works, but I will never know.
