I owned three of them and they work great. Very easy to install and easy to use. I do recommend not to leave it on if you are not using it. Please turn it on as needed..

Great product. Had the presonus studio 24 and the headroom was next to none. Get the focusrite 2nd gen 2i2. It’s a game changer.

I have a family member that recommended this mixer. He liked it a lot. However he’s a tech/ computer/ internet savvy guyI found the mixer had to set up and instructions not there or difficult to understand. If your good at those things it will probably serve u well. If not, stay away

The unit's sound quality is fine with the Shure mic we're using, however, on a Macbook Pro, this unit goes to sleep when the computer sleeps, but does not wake up properly when the computer wakes. This has caused us to have to revert to the computer mic when it decides not to work. Unplugging the unit and re-plugging it sometimes works, sometimes not. Tech support had no solution except to disconnect the unit before sleeping and reconnect it after the computer wakes - this is pretty awkward. The 8i6 has an external power supply and might be a better choice, but I haven't tested it so I can't say whether this is definitely the solution.
