This crowsfoot didn't work for my application because of its thickness. It is 0.428 inch thick (a little less than 7/16 inch or 11 mm) thick. Both the open end of my old Craftsman combination wrench and regular crowsfoot were only 0.330 inch thick. I was trying to loosen a flarenut adjacent to a right angle bend in a power steering pressure line. Fortunately, the old combination loosened the flare nut without any damage. Also, if one were trying to use it in a tight spot, the lack of any taper coming into the square hole for a 3/8 extension might make it less user friendly.

Only used it a few times but it saved me a bunch of money and it works fantastic and I still have it but don't want it to anybody because it never finds its way home

I used this to torque a mini split flare nut. The mini split has 3/4" pipe flare with 32mm flare nuts that didn't fit the standard HVAC torque wrenches, so I had to order this 32mm crow foot to get it properly torqued. Worked well.

The heat design prevents slippage on nuts & bolts. No problems at this time.

Long ago, about 1972is, I bought a set of Craftsman inch flair nut wrenches & over the years they have served me well. ...but now I need a 10mm metric flair nut wrench & Craftsman isn't what it once was. I read a lot of reviews & it appears that unless one wants to sell their firstborn child, a sloppy fit that rounds flair nuts is what one gets. I bought both a 10mm crowfoot flair nut wrench, ASIN B0B799SMXL, and a combination 8/10mm flair nut wrench, ASIN B093S65KYH.On my cars brake line flair nuts the crowfoot was tight with no discernable play & my micrometer says the flats are 10.09mm apart. The combination 8/10 mm flair nut wrench is definitely sloppy & my micrometer says the flats are 10.26mm apart. I haven't done the brake job yet, so I can't say if sloppy is too sloppy. If it is, expect an update to this review.Crowfoot ASIN B0B799SMXL highly recommendedCombination ASIN B093S65KYH iffy

If you own a 2004 Jeep Liberty like I do.... AND....your Jeep's high pressure brake hose appears to have never been changed and seems fused onto the rack like mine was....YOU ARE GOING TO NEED THIS !A regular 18mm flarenut spanner/wrench WILL NOT DO ! It will only round off the nut . This 18mm flarenut crowfoot will fit AROUND the nut which is already at an angle and then you will need two long extensions and a wobble (flex) socket to remove the nut. This thing is not leaving my toolbox. I tried eveything else ....10 minutes after receiving this a week of frustration was over.
