The foam buttons are too big for the breathing holes. Even after squeezing it somewhat into place, it covered half of my vision and wasn’t able to fit goggles at all.

This was terribly designed. When inserted into the fly racing formula helmet the round top piece basically covers half the eye opening. So when you then try to squeeze a pair of goggles in there the round top piece literally comes halfway up the goggles and you can't see anything. What you have to do is cut like an inch suction out of the middle and a round shape that goes around the goggles so that you can fit the goggles in and have this create a seal between the goggles and the helmet. Once you do that it's much better and helpful. But I don't know what they were thinking making it like they did, it's just common sense that it won't work.
