I ordered the 4 piece set with the line straightener, tippet holder, hook tippet threader, and line clipper.The magnetic hook threader really works pretty good. I have an identical one with my fly fishing gear and added this one to my spinning gear bag.The line straightener works as advertised to remove some of the memory from fly lines or leaders but there is not any leather here, just some very thin leather looking material.The nippers have a little nail knot tool, but I prefer a larger one for easier use. I have never found the little pins on these to help with clearing hook eyes and prefer pliers or hemostats with this feature that can force the pin through with little effort.The tippet holder works well though I don't like things swinging around when fishing or leaning over, so best kept in a pocket until needed.

Fly Fishing Accessories Fly Fishing Tools Kit, Fishing Knot Tool and Line Clipper with RetractorThe hemostats are the star of this package and almost worth the total price alone. But, toss in the line nippers with knot tying tool, retractable lanyard, and you're in the ball park. The leader straightener 'flap' thing-- I've never know such a thing even existed. Would almost be a usable item to apply floatant/silicon.Overall, the most useful tool included is the hemostat (the small curved nose pliers), which is perfect sized will definitely come in handy. I always seem to lose hemostats, hopefully, I'll keep better track of this one and will use the lanyard. The nippers are very basic, and have a couple add-ons that are not very useful. The hook hone is a super simple, about like a coated nail file, so I don't have high expectations for that either. The snell knot tying attachment is as challenging to use as tying a snell knot anyways.3 of 5 stars, get it for the hemostats and a couple 'entertainment only' add-on tools.

Everything looks and operates as expected .. I have yet to test this fly tool kit fishing but this kit is a good deal it's a keeper.. everything I give it 5 star bargain .. thanks RIVERRUN!

I like the fishing zinger retractor, I can clip it to my fly vest. Great accessories.

Great product for the price. I needed a line straightener for my tippet line. A must have for many fly anglers. Product includes some great extra goodies , the curved sutures are brilliant! The one bummer is the retractable line attaches to your bag via a button pin. This button pin mechanism doesn't provide the strongest hold as you expand out the line. This is the only part of the bundle that leads me to a 4 instead of 5 star review. I find that it's great to have the snipers on this retractable line tool. Have you ever been in the freezing cold river and dropped your snippers in the water? Using this retractable tool guarantees you don't have to dig through the river to find your lost snippers.

This is a pretty good gadget set for fly fishing. The pliers (hemostats) are good quality. I really like the multi tool with the clippers, hook sharpener, and nail knot tool. The clippers work great on leader or monofilament, however when you cut the thicker fly line the jaws will overlap and not spring back open. You have to open it back up manually. It cuts well so it’s not a big deal. The nail knot works really well. The leader straightener is pretty cool as well. I had to knock a star off for the retractable lanyard. The spring loaded latch does not catch well and will come unlatched with very little pressure. This could cause you to loose it and whatever you had attached to it. I have several of these that latch better so I will not use this one. All in all I would recommend this item. Just be careful of the latch on the lanyard.
