I have stacks of various Betta bits lying around from several brands, as well as 4 or 5 kinds of freeze dried food. This is the only one my Betta will eat anymore. It doesn't have any odor or added colors, and the small bottle lasts for a long time. My only real complaint is that it sinks pretty quickly. One thing to be aware of for those who care, this product is frequently suggested in forums and groups as a high quality alternative to other Betta foods that contain fillers like wheat, but this absolutely has wheat and potato as binders, and I haven't found any that don't have something like this as a binder. I actually suspect that none exist, because smaller brands I have also seen recommended don't necessarily include all the ingredients on the label, from what I understand fish food labeling requirements are basically non-existent so you just have to trust that the company is being honest.

They won't eat the fish food I bought at the store so I finded this option. They love it! The only thing is that with this fish food, they have to be searching the floor because it doesn't float much. It's a struggle for them not been able to reach the food because it drown too fast and they are not good at eating from the floor. I feel hopeless when I see them struggling. Is either pouring one by one or getting the tank dirty too quick.

I bought two different fish foods for my Betta prior to this one. He did not eat them well. The pellets were too big, I believe. He would try to chew them and then spit them out. With Bug Bites, he gets extra excited to eat and gobbles them up in no time. I recommend and so does Flash, my Betta.

The ingredients are great for betta fish, and its a great amount for thr price! And it is insect based so your betta fish can safly enjoy and digest, and my betta seems to love this food! They do sink fairly fast so only feed a couple granules at a time!

Like the title says, my betta that I have had for almost 9 months randomly became picky one day and stopped touching his food that he’s been eating consistently since I got him. I was extremely concerned that his time with me was coming to an abrupt end. I did endless water tests, bacterial infection inspections, and all of the other not-so-fun duties of a responsible fish owner to make sure that he was comfortable.As a last resort, I started searching for popular betta foods and I ordered a couple of different popular ones from amazon to try. This one is his absolute FAVORITE! It has a handy spout on the top so you don’t over feed your fish. It dispenses a very small amount of food, which is nice to help avoid getting your tank unnecessarily dirty. Like someone else said, the food does sink very fast, so I always try to make sure that I dispense the food in front of him in a way that he can swim to eat it and not accidentally sink the food. On his first feeding, I kept giving him more until he finally decided to swim away indicating that he was full. I was so relieved to finally see him eat an entire meal!!TLDR: Come to find out, this dude woke up one day and just decided to become a picky eater (lol). If your betta has stopped eating, I would absolutely try this food first.

Perfect and small for my betta fish Nebula. She goes crazy over these, and gets so excited for feeding time. I highly recommend. I use to get this when it first came out, I loved it then, still love to use it for my fish now.
