This spray is amazing! I use it about twice a week and it keeps the tank and my room smelling fresh! You wouldn’t even know I had hermit crabs in my room! You get an amazing product for the price you pay! It’s so easy to use, just a couple sprays instantly gets rid of any tank odors!

The bottle lasts a while. I use it in an aquarium with 3 hermit crabs about once a week. I mist the surface of everything in the enclosure and it prevents any odors. I am currently on my second bottle since February of this year.

Flukers deodorizing probiotic is easy to use and works well. It has a pleasant scent, which helps immediately, but the real benefit is the long term deodorization performed by the probiotic organisms. We have an underwater hermit crab, and couldn't find a lot of information regarding this kind of crab, all of the information was about land dwelling crabs. Finally, we started reading information about salt water tanks, as our crab is a saltwater crab, and we learned a great deal about the use of probiotics to keep the water crystal clear. Our tank would very often get cloudy, and we would then change spend hours changing the water and cleaning the gravel, but we learned that cloudy water just means that the water is out of balance, and if we would just leave it be, add some probiotic organisms, and let the tank come into a normal ecological balance, the water would clear up.After the most agonizing week ever, just watching the water and giving it a spray or two daily with Flukers spray, it amazingly regained it's crystal clear quality, no water changes or gravel cleaning necessary! Now, we give it a spray when we start to smell a funky odor or if we notice the water get a bit cloudy.Of course, this advise won't work for someone maintaining a full salt water tank with fish and coral. That requires a much more intense maintenance program. But we are told that our crab's natural environment would have been one of brackish water with varying levels of salinity, and can withstand less intense monitoring.I have now ordered my second bottle of Flukers, and will continue to use it to help our tank's probiotic ecology up to snuff, letting them live off the natural waste products and helping us keep our tank beautiful. As for land dwelling crabs, I imagine the same holds true. If you keep the natural ecology of the tank up, the probiotics will do much of the work for you, keep the tank from smelling "off", and letting the probiotic break down much of the natural waste products.Price wise, as I have Amazon prime and don't have to pay for shipping, the price is about half of what we paid in our local pet store.I recommend this whole heartedly.
