This kit came with everything needed to stop the tank from leaking and some. Our toilet is the Pegasus model although this kit will fix pretty much every branded tank as long as it's a 3" flap. The included tools did not fit the old bolts, so I needed to use a wrench to remove those. However. The tools included were used to put on all the new parts. The instruction manual was very helpful. It helps to have a table or utility cart in my case. To hold the tank and install all the parts. I did give it a nice rinse along with cleaning the part of the toilet bowl that's normally covered. Also used plumber's tape which was not included. This job took me about 45 minutes. Would have been quicker had I not cleaned the tank, etc. Toilet flushes much better, fills much quicker and no longer leaks.

Kit has EVERYTHING you need! Instructions are easy to read and follow, took less than 1/2 hour start to finish! Great product!

The original gasket for the 3" opening that came with the tank was less in height AND had hexagonal grove in it so the hexagonal nut that tightens the flush valve would sit snugly inside which would give the tank more stability because there are only 2 screw holes in the tank to fit onto bowl. ( Most of the tanks with 2" flush valve opening has 3 screw holes at the corners of a triangle shape, which makes the tank more stable by design. ). Because of this front to back wobbling issue with the tank, which I found out AFTER installing every thing from this repair kit, I now have to order and pay $15 more for a separate gasket from a different vendor that is identical to the original shorter gasket WITH a built in hexagonal groove on the inside !!!

This was a great find. When my toilet ran wide open while we weren't home for 3 days, we wound up paying a double water bill we weren't expecting. My husband hates plumbing so I took this one on myself and it was easy to fix. After realizing that it was overdo and our other toilet had seals that were the same age, I figured I would head it off at the pass and just do it as well. Pretty easy fix and so far, so good. This kit had almost everything I needed. The one thing I didn't love was the handle they provided had a plastic rod attachment to the flapper chain and just an overall cheap look. Luckily I was able to reuse the old ones and it was fine. All the other parts were well made.

Kit does have everything needed to replace toilet fill and flush. Parts are all included and fit. Well made. Wrench set saves a lot of time and grief.The instruction manual is the best I've ever seen. Clear, concise and complete. Written so that it makes sense the first time.

I have a Kohler Cimmeron toilet. The fill valve is awesome and I have used this fill valve in the past on another Cimmeron in our house and highly recommend it. The Cimmeron has a wide hole for the water drain. It seems like about 4 inches in diameter. I was hoping that being a 3 inch kit it would work, but it was too small and would not screw on properly and would have leaked. Just not designed for the big hole. I knocked a star off because the handle is plastic that has a chrome finish and not actual metal. The rod that the handle connect to that lifts the flapper chain is also just abs plastic and not metal like most stock rods. Will be looking for a replacement sometime soon I think.That said this is the second fluid master product I have purchased and they have AMAZING INSTRUCTIONS. Very clear installation. Made me feel like I knew what I was doing. Thank you for that Fluidmaster! You win on the installation experience.
