Easy to apply - lubricates well - lasts - smell isn’t terrible . Thickness is fine .

I live in the North Eastern US and have been in the auto industry for over 10 years. It became apparent to me that rust, not mechanical issues were sending vehicles to the junk yard. I began undercoating my personal vehicles about 8 years ago but I wasn't happy with the first products I used (rubberized under coating and another well known product). I switched to fluid film 3 years ago and was so impressed with how it works I began to undercoat friends and family vehicles. Its always easy to apply and stops rust in it tracks.

I am a believer in the benefits of Fluid Film. This shipped quickly and arrived quickly. It protects my truck from rust. A 5 gallon bucket is perfect, it allows me to do several cars and the price was extremely reasonable.

I’ve been using fluid film for over 15 years. It really does stop rust even on vehicles that have rust. You have to reapply every year and be thorough. I have to wear a respirator as the mist gives me a headache if I don’t.

A guy has to do something to keep the salt off your vehicle. I spray my vehicles every fall. This is a great deal and product that goes on easy. I sprayed it but can be brushed if needed.

I've used a few other brand's of undercoating from local auto part supplier's and it all looked good when you spray it on but had very , very poor result's so i had to pay the extra cost . It is 3x more that i was getting the other's but you get what you pay for and fluid film know's it . It's the best by far , hand's down .

A little costly but worked great. Undercoated 4 vehicles so far still have 1/2 bucket left.

I found the smell is bit much too take in but after using it for a while in the open air, it's alright. This is my first time using this product on the undercarriage of my three vehicles. I purchase the whole kit from Fluid Film to spray. I will come back in a year to review this product on how it does on preventing rusts on my vehicles. If it does what it claimed, at around $190 a bucket, it's not too bad. My local place wants to charge me $600 per vehicle. My total kit cost about $300+ but I got three cars done and still have a lot left in the bucket. So it's definitely worth it if it does prevent rusts.

My new favorite lubricant / rust preventative. This stuff is the consistency of warm lard. Definitely not liquid until applied with a spray gun. Either the Fluid Film gun kit or a standard airless paint gun works fine. Fluid Film actually recommends the airless paint gun. It absolutely does work in preventing rust. But also, it works great as a lubricant for doors, hinges, farm equipment, etc. It takes about a gallon to do a full size truck, so keep that mind when buying this jug. I also started putting this on my ATVs and not only does it protect the metal, it also adds a better than factory sheen to the plastics. They all looks brand new. The only drawback is the smell. It smells pretty bad for a few days. So park your truck outside until it airs out.

I've been using this for about 4 years now and I believe it is the best on the market. The rubber undercoating trap moisture and accelerate rust so avoid those. Several technical reviews have selected Fluid Film as the best and I agree (I tried 2 similar products). I initially bought the lower end Fluid Film spray gun and was not real happy with it so I bought the Fluid Film pro-gun and I love it - it is well worth the added cost. The Fluid Film sprays on the easiest when it is at least 70 F outside (the warmer it is, the better). And make sure to mix the Fluid Film up because that makes it spray way easier. I spray my cars every September. Upstate NY winter salted roads will eat cars up! BTW - works great on lawn mower decks too. And frees frozen car locks and window cranks up. FYI - certain parts of the cars under-chassis are not hit directly by water/dirt/snow and in those areas, the Fluid Film will look wet and well protected after a year which means that I after my first or second year of spraying a car, I need to use a lot less the following years. Also, buy the 1/2" sheet metal plugs so you can drill holes and spray Fluid Film in all the cavities and then use the plugs to close the holes. Best value is to buy it by the 5 gallon jug.
