I loce my Fluance turntable. This cork mat dampens any noise that might come from the turntable and makes it look even more classy than it was already.

I bought this to get rid of the static build up from the cheap & nasty felt one that came with my Pro-ject Debut Carbon DC turntable. I'm very pleased to say that it did it, static gone & it also looks really good on my deck. I've read other reviews that mention cork particals getting on their precious vinyl, not in my experience. It's a top quality mat, nice thickness, I like the label recess, it's good value for money & with the static gone, comes an improvement in sound quality. I fully recommend this upgrade cork mat.

I really played around with my platter . I removed my rubber mat and placed the cork down. It’s good that the vinyl is secure and less possibility of scratches compared to the rubber. I wasn’t impressed with the sound though so I put the rubber mat down and the cork on top of that. It actually sounds better on the lower end. There isn’t much of the turntable peg sticking out but there’s enough for the weight to be placed on.

I bought this mat primarily to reduce the static - especially during the winter months. It does a good job at that. These mats also promise better sound quality. I can't say I've noticed that but I've not done much critical listening in the first few weeks I've had it. The mat doesn't sit flush to my turntable platter until I put a record on top. In all, it performs as promised.

I wasn’t expecting miracles with the static, though it doesn’t necessarily seem better or worse then the stock rubber mat that came with my RT81. I assume the static problem is humidity related, given that I live in a dry climate.Main issue I have with this product is the cork dust that gets everywhere. The texture was really rough and seems to be constantly shedding cork, requiring my to thoroughly clean my records after every use.Going back to the stock rubber mat for now. Never got to give it a solid sound quality comparison, as the dust was too much of a hassle to make this product worthwhile.

Great solution for static , can’t get rid of all of it, but in my case it made a huge impact on playback.Good solution if you don’t have a ton of cash!

Honestly not sure if it improves play quality of my LPs, but it looks sharp on my Fluance TT. It’s not hurting sound quality. I know that much. No problem with “cork dust” as reported by another reviewer. Get one.
