Was delivered 3 days early, installed it right away only took about 15min and sounds great on my 2011 Silverado, cut the old exhaust off and slid this one right in so problems what so ever.

Just bought a new truck and wanted to upgrade the sound to something more aggressive. Stumbled upon the Flowmaster outlaw kit as it looked easy to install and I have had experience with Flowmaster before with good results. This kit was no different. Easy is easy. It's ment to be a stock replacement, so if your truck is not 100% stock in terms of the exhaust, some modification will be required. That's what happened in my case. After removing the old muffler, I didn't have enough pipe for the new Flowmaster to reach the hangers. With a little extra work, I installed an extension to the pre existing pipe, and everything clamped down smooth.The sounds is awesome in my book. Has a good rumble at idle after a cold start, but once warmed up, it quites down quite a bit. Open it up though, and the pipes scream a wonderful deep rumble!

Awesome sound and easy install. Unlike a lot of reviews I read on various sites, it showed up painted completely black. The hardest part of the install was removing the stock muffler and tail pipe...once I cut the mild steel pipe in front of the muffler with a chain pipe cutter, I couldn’t get it over the axle in either direction so I ended up cutting the stainless pipe behind the muffler as well. My chain pipe cutter barely scratched the stainless so I used an angle grinder. That made it easy to get out. Initially, the Flowmaster pipe would not fit over the stock exhaust pipe but some careful application of a hammer fixed that. Lastly, the supplied clamp doesn’t seem to tighten enough to make a truly secure connection so I will take it to the shop this weekend and have it welded. It’s tight enough but I really don’t want any play in it at all. No way it’s going to fall out or anything, just want it completely tight.All in all it took me a couple of hours after work this evening...well worth it for the relatively cheap price tag and the great sound. Aggressive but not overly loud...even my wife likes it!

I haven’t even installed yet and I am disappointed, the whole set up isn’t even entirely painted. It’s a small thing but it looks like something I could have done with a rattle can. Just installed it and the process is simple, little bit of work trying to get the muffler over top of the pipe but with a grinder and sanding wheel slipped right over. Truck sounds really good, nice low rumble and turns some heads when you get on it. Couldn’t be more pleased by the installation and the sound but still disappointed in the presentation of it.

Very happy with the sound. I was looking for something loud and mean and this was just the right exhaust to throw on my 2010 Chevy Silverado. Only problem was it didn't fit over the existing pipe so the exhaust needed to be welded on. a local mechanic put it in for me and wasn't very expensive. All in all, great exhaust system.

I've had this for a couple months now, figured I'd wait before I wrote a review. I was in search of something loud, but not extremely loud. I think this hits the nail right on the head. I listened to a few other systems on other Silverados before purchasing. I thought I was going to get the American Thunder kit until I heard it in real life and realized it's not loud at all. I knew I needed something louder. Goy exactly what I was searching for. Idle sounds great, truck sounds bad@$$ driving around. Makes a hell of a lot of noise if you get on the accelerator moderately or better! Doesn't sound cheap. Drone isn't bad, and I'm someone who hasn't had loud exhaust before. That being said I am not very sensitive to sound. Drone can be loud and rattle your truck at low low RPMs. 2013 Silverado 5.3 LT Z71 4X4

Was supposed to be a direct fit and fit over the factory inlet pipe however it was the same size hat to cut a portion of the original tailpipe and go inside both with two clamps to attach. Sound is ok but bot what i expected.
