Dress is very pretty in-person. My daughter put it on and did not want to take it off! As other commenters have said it is very long. A smaller size was not available at the time of ordering- however, I think even a smaller size would still be too long. We will be trimming the bottom off about 4.5 inches.

This dress is really well made and beautiful, but I also wanted to add that this dress is lined on the inside and very soft. Some of these dress are so scratchy and impossible to wear. My daughter is very particular about needing things comfortable, so this dress definitely checked that box for us!

You MUST get some type of poof with this dress or it will just be too long. My daughter wanted to be a princess one year for halloween and I got this for her. Really pretty. She wore it to church and other things too. After about the 5th wear the sash that ties around the back came off. Just one though. So I safety pinned it back on at the time. Then the other came off. Luckily though I guess it wasn't actually attached to the band around the belly. but with the hold on the side, it was a bit awkward. Cute dress. Just not for long term use

I bought this dress for my daughter's princess party. Unfortunately it fit her too big and we returned the dress. I really wish we didn't have to. it was a very magical and beautifully made dress.
