I was surprised how fast this arrived! Really happy with the quality and ease of the cut. Highly recommend for paper crafters.

I started paper crafting as a hobby and this came in handy when I need to make paper and booklets cut at a certain measurement for the inside of notebooks and binders smooth to use safety hatch I love it

Cleanly cuts through a stack of a couple hundred sheets of paper. It's a solid piece of equipment, I've been using it to trim of the deckle edges off hardcover books (a nice smooth edge of a book lets you flip/fan through the pages to find what you're looking for, makes it easier to turn pages, and doesn't have all the "nooks and crannies" to collect dust and dirt like a deckle edge does.)It does take some patience and finesse to get the stack of bound pages lined up properly when you’re trying to trim a hardcover book and the hardcovers are opened all the way so they’re pointing away from the pages – that has to be that way to put the pages into the cutting area clamp (and not have the hardcovers trimmed as well.) But once the pages are lined up and clamped in place it is easy to cut through them square and smooth. In order to make sure that the bottom page or two is fully cut it is good to place the stack of paper on a thin sheet of cardboard (like from a cereal box) in order to ensure the blade passes through and cuts all the sheets. Also, the stop is adjustable both in distance from the blade and (to a lesser extent) if it is parallel to the blade or if you want it a few degrees off of parallel – so if using the stop to position your work make certain it is aligned how you want it.Only used it to trim the deckle edges off of four books so far but it does what I bought it for (to cleanly cut through a stack of a few hundred sheets of paper) and it seems solid like it will last for a lot of use.

I live in the US so buying this model was silly BUT it was not intentional. There are inch measurements but the major rule guides are in metric. I was able to use it, just took more time than I'd like. The major problem is that the unit its self is out of plumb and is also not square. I got it for card and book binding and I haven't really been able to use it for either. Gave it a try again recently and I've noticed that the clamp doesn't sit level with the cutting board. The clamp on the upper edge near the blade pivot is about 1/8 of an inch higher than the other end. So unless I'm cutting a thick stack of paper, nothing is held tight. I'm way past my warranty and didn't want to deal with the return a year ago.I do not recommend this cutting machine at all. It'll be okay to use for cutting that doesn't require any precision whatsoever-like cutting cardboard for packing material but that's about it. But I will reiterate that the blade its self is fine in that it cuts, just not where you need it too unfortunately.

I love how easy to use it is, and also how smooth the mechanism is. I’ve been using it regularly for the past couple of months with no issues. I also love that there’s a replacement blade here on Amazon for this machine (in case it gets dull or breaks). The replacement blade is cheap and I don’t think you’d need a replacement for the first couple of years, so don’t worry about that. But I love that I won’t have to buy a machine if the blade gets damaged. Overall would recommend.

I operate a small, full service printing company aimed at small businesses and individuals needing fast turn around on small orders that most commercial printers don't want to do. I was looking to upgrade my batch cutting capability. This cutter exceeded my expectations! I currently work for a commercial printer and use cutters much, MUCH bigger daily. This cutter is very well built. Most importantly, it's VERY accurate. I've cut 150 sheets of 24# paper with NO drift. The top and bottom sheets were perfect! Another plus for me is that the blade can be resharpened, this isn't a throw-away blade. With an extra blade, there's no down time. You will want to send it out to a professional knife sharpener, (Not lawnmower blades). Overall, I'm very happy with this cutter. I'm using it in a semi-professional environment and it's never let me down.

The product arrived with one of its black plastic "feet" broken off. Still works fine, and it is very useful to me in cutting high volumes of card stock all at once. But I had to figure out how to use it on my own. There was no literature at all that came with the product. Nothing about how to use it, where to order a replacement blade when the time comes, or how to trouble-shoot any problems I might have. If this had been included, I would have rated it with 4 or 5 stars instead of 3.

I bought a paper cutter for $800 and when it started to cut crooked, their customer service was absolutely no help! I bought this one in a crunch and it is saving the day. I’d rather buy three that work for short of times then spent a fortune on one that is supposed to last but doesn’t

While, I have only had the cutter for about a week, so far it's great. It's simple to use and very effective at the cuts that I have need to make. I haven't tried anything to push it's capacity but a standard size composition note book slices like butta'. :)

This is awesome! I cut apart old books that are headed for the landfill, and my wife does prints of here digital art on them for her business. I finally decided to go for a high capacity cutter as I was sick of spending so much time dismantling books...with this I can cut a book in to smaller sections, then throw it in here and cut the binding off super easy. Based on other reviews, I was expecting to have to fine tune and clean things, but I guess I got lucky...mine was dead on out of the box, and there was no significant visible grease...I did get some grease spots on my first few cycles, but they were all test pages so no big deal. Within about 15 minutes of unpacking it, I had a sick of 1000 or so pages ready for my wife...
