Super easy to install to the seat post. It comes all installed. Just have to clamp it to the seat post and then tighten the screws. Once installed it is very firm and does not wiggle. They claim that it can hold 20 pounds. Now that is a lot for something that is only supported by the seat post. I have not tried this test and anything that I will be carrying will never come close to 20 pounds. It is very light and weighs 500 grams. It looks to be very well made. Now their ad is confusing as it mentions a seat post of 10 to 12.5 inches. I have no idea what that meant. My seat post has a diameter of 1.25 inches and it was an easy fit. I think it will fit pretty well all bike seat posts whether slimmer or bigger in diameter. The diameter is all that matters and not the length of the seat post. Now if your seat is so low that one cannot see the post then this will have no place to attach to.

Der Fahrradträger war völlig schief zusammengeschweißt. Unglaublich, dass so etwas verkauft wird ohne Endkontrolle.

The bracket I received looked like it had been previously installed. It was incredibly lightweight. Because it looked used and fairly weak structurally, I returned it.

Someone stole my other luggage rack so had to buy this. I like that you can adjust it horizontally, and its really sturdy feeling. I had to get a battery jumper from the auto parts store, thing was dang heavy but this worked really well.

This is a piece of Trash. I tied a small cooler under the weight limit this thing said it could handle. Wile I was riding my bike it is moving left and right on turn even though I tightened it to its max. When I arrived home the whole thing was dented and bent to one side. I do not recommended it for anyone who is gonna use it for cargo. I would spend a little more a buy one that own swish back and forth during your ride. I gave 2 stars beucase it looked very nice and was quite cheap. But, all in all this was a piece of garbage aluminium

Not bad for the price. Light weight. I ordered two and they were not identical. One had little tabs on the underside for attaching rope or bungee cords, one did not. Not a biggie, just weird that I'd get two different products. The reason I did not give 5 stars is because the bolts were very difficult to screw in initially...not a deal breaker, I was afraid I was going to strip out the threads. I guess they were drilled prior to powder coating and the black paint was on the threads. Overall, good product for the price and I would buy again.

Nice design for the most part. The failure point for these bolt-on attachments is the bolt tread in the base, and this product is no different. $ .45 at a local hardware gets you a locknut, and 4 of them fully secure the clamp/bolt-on so you don't have to worry about the bolts tearing loose. The fit is another issue. You need clearance behind the seat post and above the rear tire, and based on this design you may need a little more than you might suspect. There is an under tube with bolts protruding, figure you need a couple of inches below the horizontal plane of the clamp height above the rear wheel. In my application I have a l/t thudbuster seatpost, so the clamp is already 2-3 inches below the top of the seatpost - a closer fit above the rear tire than I might have guessed.. Just something to keep in mind. Those issues aside, great value.

UPDATE: Seller contacted me offering to replace my broken product! The offer to fix my problem could not have come at a better time since I am noticing a problem with my Schwinn Rear Carrier Rack spinning out regardless to how tight I clamp it to the seat post.As I mentioned in my previous review (see below), i did like the clamping mechanism of this product.Out of the 3 rear carriers i have tried, this is the only one that did not spin out.I still do not recommend pushing the 22lbs load limit especially if you are riding on bumpy roads. I believe the occasional hopping of my rear tire contributed to the break so I plan to limit the load to 10-12 lbs which is approximately 1/2 the load of what is rated for.Big THANK YOU to the seller for taking the time to contact me and working out my problem.(original review)It broke. The label indicated 22lbs and it broke under a 14 lbs load ( 2 X 12v 10ah SLA battery pack).Metal is very thin.I went to local Walmart and picked up a Schwinn Rear Carrier Rack and it is holding 3 X 12v SLA battery pack with no problem.I hope i can get this fixed.I did like the clamping mechanism. very strong, does not spin out or give up.
