Good rugged firehose type nozel. We have it on many of the hoses. They survive well being tossed around.

This is my 3rd review. After going to the flexzilla website and going through the warranty process, (I had procrastinated and was past the Amazon 30 day return policy), they sent me a replacement. I'm very appreciative that Flexzilla is standing by their product. Time will again tell if there is an issue if the hose is under pressure with the nozzle closed. Changing to 4 stars to wait to see if the problem returns. 2nd review; Previously, I had given the Flexzilla a great rating. But had to change it after it started leaking. When it is closed off while the water is still on, it started spraying from beneath the head portion of it. I will try to replace to see if it is an ongoing issue, and then look for another brand. (OLD REVIEW) So far so good. No leaks as of yet and seems very durable. Still early, but has been used daily for 2 weeks, spray pattern hasn't developed any mystery sprays. Time will tell on durability, but so far very pleased with the performance.

I've had a few fire hose nozzles before. I was hoping this one would be great because flexzilla hoses are amazing and I really love the 3 setting wand that I use in my edible garden. This nozzle is useable and the price is reasonable. As others have said, and videos show, if tightened incorrectly, this nozzle does leak water between the two rubber pieces. And, yes, it does twist in the opposite direction I intuitively expect it to turn. It is too late to return for a refund so I will keep it for now.

I have 70 psi at my hose end, and it is still not enough to give me maximum water from this sprinkler end.

I read the lousy reviews on this and shopped for a different one, but really didn't find one with significantly better reviews (and certainly not at this price). The more I searched, I just kept coming back and taking another look at this one so I bought it.First impressions:I boat in Florida. I need a good sprayer to rinse down my boat and trailer after a day on saltwater. After a few uses, this absolutely exceeds my expectations which were admittedly low from the poor reviews. I have owned a few of these fire hose type nozzles with my favorite so far being a Craftsman that I bought at Sears at the mall when that was a thing. The Craftsman is bigger and heavier and has lasted over 15 years so far and is still going strong. It shuts off with a twist in either direction, but doesn't have the precise spray that this one does. The worst I have owned were from Harbor Freight and I literally gave them away.Anyway, general observations and why I like this one:- Compact and lightweight... remarkably lightweight- When it is shut off, there is not even a drip coming from it- I need a 12-15 feet of a strong tight jet of a water stream to reach my brakes, ends of torsion axles, and various trailer components while I lay on the ground at the rear of my boat. This nozzle provides that, possibly better than my Craftsman nozzle.- I need a nice cone of water to rinse larger areas including the inside and outside of my boat. This cone needs to be strong enough to knock off salt (salt removal is mechanical, you have to physically knock it off the boat). While this nozzle has a very small adjustment range that provides a hard hitting cone of water (and the cone itself is pretty small), it is strong and works well. I am pleased with it.Cons:- It only shuts off when twisted in one direction and it seems to be the opposite of the direction that I want to naturally twist. I will get used to this.- To get a hard jet of water in a cone shape, the adjustment window is rather small. I will say that the cone it does make works well. It will make a cone of water in any size, but it has a super small window to make one where the water comes out stinging hard.Longevity:To be determined. I will update this if/when it fails. My Craftsman set a high bar for this.

Pretty cool design and look but not so good on the quality of materials used. After about a week of use well should I say one time of use and about a week later I went to go wash the car and this thing kept leaking profusely and still to this day it leaks with one good use out of it... I don't recommend this product u get what u pay for, spend the extra few bucks for the one this copies!

Originally ordered a couple of years ago, the quality was great. It was a solid product and ‐ that original order - still is. The same nozzle bought in 2024 is poorly built and leaks profusely. There is an internal fitment problem. Poor quality control (definitely)and possibly in an attempt to reduce materials used?Opening the flow from the closed position loosens internal connections at the barrel base. The internal O-ring seal fails after about two uses. Complete disassembly/reassembly restores the fit for 1 or 2 uses. Not a good outcome. When the seal fails, water gushes between the green plastic and the silver middle barrel towards the hose attachment end. When working properly...Unlike the traditional cigar-sized brass twist nozzles that often require high-torque adjustments using fingertips, alone, this Flexzilla design has a supple, oversized grip that you can get your whole hand around. It's great for arthritic hand and finger joints. The larger grip diameter requires less hand pressure to make an adjustment and overall less effort to twist the barrel.Great for gardening, car wash, and most needs in-between.The high-velocity stream isn't as tight as other models, but the reach is respectable at 15 to 20 feet (with water pressure available at my location.)
