The first thing that caught my eye were pictures of the mat holding up a rotor. First thing I did when I got it was putting a rotor on it. And it was definitely worth the spend. Held the rotor like nothing perpendicular from the ground. I should have no worries organizing my tools on the lid of my toolbox with this

Bought this for my boyfriend to use to hold hand tools while he is out in his shop. He works at a commercial type trailer repair shop. It stays where he puts it and holds a bunch of different size tools. Great for bolts and screws too. I wish they made a bigger size. Good value for the price. Would also be great for at home for use as a knife holder on the side of the fridge. I just may have to buy another one.

I have four of these mats now. I mostly use them to hang tools up on my metal pegboards. But they are easy to pull down and slap anywhere to keep tools, bolts, nuts, springs, whatever, securely in one place throughout a job. Even if the surface is not metal, the cover on these has enough grip you can set it on a slope and it will keep your tools from rolling away.The magnets are perfect for the use. They have enough grip to hold even heavy tools like my 9" pipe wrench on a vertical surface like my pegboard. But, the magnets aren't so strong that it's hard to take your tools down when you need them.Highly recommended.
