About this item

  • 【Flexible and Moldable】 This flexible Foldable Oil Drain Funnel has a built-in metal plate support that can be bent, curled and secured into any shape to fit into tight spaces (e.g. engine compartment, inside lawn mowers, etc.), and precisely directs fluids into the oil drain pan. It fits into complex structures (e.g., U-shaped cross members in cars, filters underneath axles) and prevents oil from dripping onto hard-to-clean areas.
  • 【Leak Proof and Easy to Clean】 Smooth silicone surface allows oil, paint and other liquids to flow smoothly with little residue, and can be easily cleaned with water. The red color design makes it easy to see how clean it is.
  • 【Multi-scenario Application】 This oil funnel for oil change is not only used for oil change, but also for fuel pump replacement, lawn mower draining, refilling fluids and so on. Definitely ideal for outdoor off-road emergency equipment, folds down to a small size and is easy to carry.
  • 【Durability】 This oil funnel is made of silicone material, thick material, not easy to break when folded repeatedly, can work in the temperature range of -31°F to 221°F (-35°C to 105°C), chemical resistant and reusable.
  • 【After-Sales Service】 We promise to be there to support you whenever and wherever you need help. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions. We look forward to working with you to resolve the issue and ensure that you are satisfied with our service.

This product is a moldable, heat-resistant silicone flexible funnel designed to solve the problem of leakage during oil changes (especially in scenarios where the oil filter is in a tricky location) or other fluid transfers.

Practical application scenarios for users

Awkwardly positioned oil filter: bend the funnel into a guide groove to avoid oil dripping onto the engine guard or frame cross member.

Lawnmower oil drain: replace the traditional funnel to prevent oil splashing.

Liquid filling in narrow space: such as off-road vehicle fuel tank, differential, etc., when the ordinary funnel can not fit, it can be shaped to fit.

This flexible funnel is centered on “solving pain points” and is especially suited to handling liquids in complex mechanical structures. Its versatility and time-saving cleanup advantages make it a high-value item in the DIY toolbox.

This serves it's purpose of being flexible and functional. It's super bendable and easy to manipulate the shape to make it into a funnel. I bought this to use for a go kart's oil pan. The pan is in a tricky place and a regular funnel won't fit in the small area. This bendable funnel solves the problem perfectly. Easy to bend by hand and form it into the shape that you want. It holds it's shape during use and then you can unbend it back to whatever 'neutral' position you want. Dirty? Just wash with soap and water and it will dry super fast. The exterior is waterproof, so water beads on it and slips off. It's durable and thick enough, so it won't crack. Definitely a great value.

First, a disclaimer - I received this product for free to review through Amazon's one program.I found this to be an acceptable substitute for a name brand "Form a Funnel," but I have concerns about durability. For anyone not familiar, this is a generic version of the "Form A Funnel," which allows you to custom-form a flat sheet of flexible material into a funnel shape. It allows you to fit into small or odd spaces where other funnels won't fit, and will hold it's shape after forming. As an automotive technician, these are indispensable on modern automobiles for keeping excess fluids out of sensitive areas when doing routine maintenance or repairs.Having previously used the name brand, it seems clear that the quality and durability of this unit are noticably lower. It doesn't hold it's shape as well, and after flattening it back out, there are some noticable wrinkles that don't want to smooth out. That being said, it does work pretty well for it's intended purpose, and does clean up acceptably with a rag.Overall, this does do the job at a very reasonable price, but I wouldn't plan on using this in a professional setting. If you're a DIYer however, ital may well be worth a purchase.

I always drain my old oil into a pan. Getting it grom the pan into a jug for recycling -- without dripping oil down the side of the jug -- has always been an exercise in patience. I tried makeshift funnels using cardboard (such as empty cereal boxes), but those always seemed to be more effort than they were worth. This funnel is the answer. Nice and heavily made do that it holds its shape when inserted into the jug. I wish I had this a long, long time ago. Recommended.

This is a nice budget flexible funnel. It's basically a thin sheet of tin encased all around with silicone. You can bend and shape it in any position you need to drain oil where you need it. If you are making multiple bends, you do have to be a little patient with going back and adjusting the other bends as you go. I own multiple of these types of funnels and I find it more convenient to just keep the bends in them if you plan on using it again in the future for the same task. For example, I have one funnel bent for changing the oil on my lawn tractor and that is all I use it for. It saves time from having to re-shape the funnel for that task every time I do it. At only $8 for this funnel, it makes it affordable to own multiples. There are higher end flexible funnels that are more flexible and softer metal than the piece of tin in this flexible funnel, but those flexible funnels are expensive. This funnel (along with others in this price range) is not too difficult to bend but once you bend it it is impossible to make it perfectly flat again. It can be bent time and time again with no problem. It's just that the more that you bend it, the more remnants of past bends there are. It would be nice if this funnel was wider and longer, but it's the standard size that most flexible funnels are.NOTE: If you can use a normal funnel to do a job, you'll most likely be better off using that funnel for the job than a flexible funnel. A flexible funnel is best for jobs where a normal funnel just doesn't work or fit.

So I have the original flexy funnel and have used it for years working at my shop. I wanted one to use at home and gave this one a shot. There are definitely some differences when compared. The original is thicker and made of a bit stronger metal. It holds it shape more ridged compared to this model. This funnel feels thinner and the internal metal has a little 'rebound' to it when you mold it.In conclusion, if you need it for a living, buy the original. But for a weekend mechanic or to just shove in your truck toolbox this easily gets the job done for the money.

I am not sure about this. It doesn't bend easily, when it does, it is hard to flatten it again. It is also very hard to roll it tight for a small opening. What doesn't make sense to me that one side is high gloss and very sticky. Everything sticks to it. Dust, sand, hair, etc... I thought it would be good to have in my truck because it would be a bit of a space saver compared to a regular funnel but I don't see this very useful at all so it will end up laying around collecting dust that sticks to it somewhere in my shop.

This review is for Flexible Foldable Oil Drain Funnel, Multi-Purpose Form a Funnels for Automotive Use, Easy to Clean Oil Change Tool, Flex FunnelBrand: HoomteoulThis is a pretty good flexible funnel but it could be improved upon. The metal inside doesn't feel like lead or a soft metal like many brands - it is flexible but it is a bit resistant to shaping and then resistant to returning to the flat shape. Feels more like a thin sheet metal. Lead (or whatever soft metal) is a considerable improvement. Second, one side is dull and the other shiny and kind of grippy. I would prefer that both sides were the dull side / type of plastic.I have only used it twice so no thoughts yet on longevity. It is an incredible value item vs. the softer metal ones - they are about 3 or 4x as much as this one. So if you are for the value proposition, you probably found it.
