it was packaged well but the sleigh arrived cracked along the grain. I was able to get a full refund without any hassle, so can not complain about that, but disappointed that I was unable to get a replacement.

Nice look, except the pull rope was "yellow"? Hmmm, should have been red as shown in picture. I went to hardware store and replaced it with black pull rope. Then purchased a soft sled cushion (green and black checker) and small led tie-on light. What fun at night in the snow!

We used this at least 4 times this winter with our 1 year old son, and it was perfect. We also bought the matching cushion. The only minor recommendation I would make is for the rope to be slightly longer so we didn’t have to bend over as much, but it isn’t a big deal. Super cute and well constructed, and our son loves it.

We LOVE this. I was so excited to find this. It snowed Christmas night so the day after we were able to wake up and take our 11 month old sledding. She thought it was the best thing ever. I do wish the front was a little heavier, because she does tip back a bit. But the wood was smooth and it held up well.

This is such a great little baby sled. We got it so our daughter, who has down syndrome, could participate in winter walks without needing to be jostled around in her stroller. As older infants our other kids could easily have sat in it but for her we we attach a special tomato brand floor sitter seat (just the seat part). It fits great and attaches securely. She gets to glide along the snow smoothly and safely and even ‘go sledding’ down tiny snow mounds with her siblings.The quality of the sled is very good. It’s well made with attention to detail. I do wish the rope handle was a nice cotton rather than the included synthetic but it’s easy enough to swap it out. For a typical child I’d say the age range is a couple months after they can first sit independently to around three years old, depending on height and weight. I would not use it for true downhill sledding, I don’t feel it would be safe for that, but I think it’s more of a pull along sled/sleigh.
