This item is not what I expected. I needed test for hydrocarbons and the antifreeze and this package basically had one strip in it. The chart doesn’t tell you too much, so I thought this was very expensive for one strip. More Economical to buy solution that you mix with some antifreeze and it changes colors.

The advertised heading says "FleetGuard Coolant Test Kit Strips 3 Way Each...". This would lead you to believe that there are more than one strip to test with. There isn't. There is only ONE strip in the kit. Tricky advertising. Not worth the $13.50 for one strip.

I only use one of these a year to check the freeze point on my RV. Didn't want to buy a large quantity.For what the larger quantities cost. I think two test strips would be more appropriate for this price. Just sayin.

Strip was expired upon arrival and already had changed color.

I bought 4 test strips. One was more than a year expired and three were due to expire in less then three weeks. All were not usable due to brown Nitrite Pad. Making money on discards! Will never buy from again!!

As the newer coolants are extended life and have differant additives than Ethylene Glycol, a standard hydrometer did not have the accuracy I needed (I live in Minnesota) The test kit worked as expected and also showed no signs of contamination due to head gasket seepage (2006 3.5 honda v6)

Worked well, but it is described as "strips". There is only 1 strip!
