Me being a man on the larger size it's hard to find furniture that can support my size thus chair says up to 1000 lbs no I don't weigh that much not even close but I bought it for the extra support incase I received my chair yesterday and I'm very happy with it it's very comfortable and not to big fits rather nicely in the corner of the room I will be buying more of these in the future also item arrived 5 days early

Chair is most strongly built. This is really a big man's chair. It's built comfortably for a King.

Saying I'm fat is an understatement. I work a job that requires lots of walking and lifting and when I come home, I would sit in my office swivel chair that hadn't broken yet but the chair seat was bending downward which created more pain when I sat for more than 30 minutes at a time. This chair could use a little more padding and could be an inch or two taller, but I can actually sit without pain which makes this worth it. It can support enough weight for almost anything.

Excellent and comfortable chair! I bought this chair to exercise with when using my indoor stationary bike pedals. I am 260 pounds and it easily supports my weight while I use my exercise equipment. It is a very well built product. I definitely recommend this chair if you need a heavy duty chair.

Chairs look sturdy but the plastic inserts on bottom of legs were pushed in !

Chair was exactly as advertised, and built like a tank. The only thing I dislike about it, and the reason it's not getting five stars is that the side frame bars can cut into the bottom of your leg. If the manufacturer could solve this problem by widening the seat cushion to cover this area, it would be perfect.

I returned this, I was excited because I needed a stationary chair. For the big people out there the width is misleading. The front angles up and at the front edge the metal seat frame (which is 1" smaller on each side because they measured including the metal side frame) which the very ends are SHARP and un comfortable. I don't think if you need a 1000 pound chair or really any chair over 400 pounds you should buy unless you can try it out. I am just under 500 but I have a lot of leg swelling sitting in a bad chair all day..There are some things that would make this chair designed better. NOT having it slope and keeping it level and not curved. Telling the manufacturer to round or soften those hard edges. I sat on it for 10 minutes and felt the metal digging into me. So I returned and went to destinationXL which is the casual male. they had more and better options I chose. I prefer to do everyone on Amazon because of the deliver times, the cost and they make returns and feedback like this VERY EASY. This is all about the manufacturer, Amazon did its part above expectation. -NATMU2000

As a big fat guy (400+) I absolutely love this chair. Is it as comfortable as sitting on a cloud? No, but you're not going to get that at our size. Just a fact of life. What I care about is durability, and this thing is like sitting on a tank. As a guy my size I'm hard on computer chairs, they break and break and break. This thing is still going strong, and I use it for everything. There's no creaking when I sit on it, and it's not showing any sign of weakness even after many months of abuse. I wish I would've bought this years ago before I wasted money on computer chairs that merely claimed to support my size.None of us like being fat, but if you're reading this review you're probably in the demographic that needs a chair like this. And I say as an enormous individual that struggled for years to find a durable seat, this is what you want.

These are solidly made chairs for obese people. They are not especially attractive but they are not cheap-looking either. They are noticeably wider than most chairs and they look, frankly, "fat". Some people have laughed when they saw them because their "bariatric" function is obvious. They certainly are not cheaply-made however. . The seats are comfortable, the fabric is basic and far from fancy but again, it just works. . I purchased 30 of them for a weight loss clinic and they perform admirably. Now all of our chairs match and all of them are bariatric. This eliminates the embarrassment of an obese patient needing to deliberately select the sole "fat chair" in the lobby while the "skinny" people take the small chairs. Now everybody gets a "fat chair".Anyway, this is furniture sold at a truly fair price. If you have the need for these chairs, you'll save hundreds of dollars per chair over most "bariatric" chairs.

I tip the scales at 400 pounds, so it's almost impossible to find a comfortable chair that lasts very long. I can safely say this chair is well built, and will be with me for a long time. It also has good padding, and in just the right spots. My old chairs were never very comfortable (Which is surprising, since they were considered plus sized office chairs), and I was constantly adding pillows or throws to conform to my body a little better. This chair is simple in design, and great just the way it is.We have wood floors, so scratching is always a concern. The rubber feet on this chair looks safe, although I did add a layer of felt just to be sure. The back of the chair is surprisingly low, so it's not one that you'll be putting your feet up with. When I lean back, it comes to the bottom of my shoulder blade. When my back gets tight, it's just the right height to lean back and stretch out the tight muscles over the back of the chair.The reviewer who mentioned the problem with the metal on the front frame hit it dead on. Although you can't see it in the picture, the metal supporting the cushion hooks to the main seat on both sides and is uncomfortable to the bare legs. If you wear shorts, you'll want to make sure to throw something on the chair to avoid getting scratched.This chair only has two minor flaws, and a lot going for it. I'd definitely recommend it to any plus sized person looking for a good chair.
