Very budget friendly chair. Wish it was a little taller and maybe had other color options. Overall it fits with our desks for the kids and they may be able to use them for a couple years before we need a taller one

Look at the 1-star reviews. They are mostly complaining that they didn't read the full product description. It's right there, 12" seat height. My dining room "adult" chairs measure 18" from the floor to the seat. Just as the description says, this one was 12".We bought this because we wanted a sturdier chair to go with a kid's table, especially when little kids want an adult to sit next to them. I don't know about 440lbs, but it is handling over 200 lbs no problem. I can sit in this chair for extended durations without feeling the chair is going to give way.

Product looks good, however Not able to fit the side arm, due to no instructions on how to do it and hence not able to use the chair.Also, couldn’t return it, since it comes in a huge box and returning back is Not possible, since it won’t fit in any type of Car.Also, UPS (and Amazon) played kind of Negative role in the return, since they were not able to update the new address (ie my address which got changed after the delivery).Due to all the above mentioned, item is lying unused in my flat, thereby making it a very bad purchase.

The chairs are already assembled and you just have to add the desk portion (if desired). Very sturdy chairs. Definitely sized for adults but children can sit comfortably. At 5' 3" (and shrinking), I consider myself vertically challenged. My feet dangle off "adult" chairs, and that really hurts my back. I ordered one of these chairs for my desk in October and then, liked it so much I ordered another in November for my spot at the dining table. My husband, who is 6' 5" has an "adult" chair at the dining table, so yes, it looks a bit odd at our dining table, but what the heck. I'm old. I don't care. And my back doesn't hurt now. Plus, less distance from my dinner plate to my mouth.So, I got to thinking yesterday, as I was traveling on public transportation all day, my child chairs aren't really helping my back that much because I can sit on the bus seat okay. I can sit just fine on this train seat. I'm good on the BART. Ummm, nope. Woke up this morning with that ache in my hip and leg where I dangled my foot mid-air off the public transportation seats. Sadly, I can't take my chair around with me, strapped on my back, but lesson learned. I'll try to stand up more on public transportation, and wait until I get home to sit on my Flash Furniture.And no, I was not paid for this review. No one pays crabby old women for crabbing around on Amazon.Like everyone else has said, chair comes fully assembled in a large cardboard box. These are great!. Great price and they arrived quickly. You do have to assemble them as they arrive disassembled. They did not come with the allen wrench so you will have to use your own, neighbors or purchase one. There was not instructions but was easy to put together. Very sturdy. I have a friend that is over 300 lbs and sat in the seat without strain. He was more uncomfortable in the seat with the desk attached due to his size but the seat held well. The table top is on the small size and it does swings up. A Tablet, small laptop, or regular writing notebook is all that fits on it. It has a pen holder that runs down the length of the arm on the tabletop. .
