The product fit my need. The base is very solid and would be great for my tabletop. However when I saw the appearance of the base surface, I was severely disappointed. It was going in my kitchen and looked terrible. You can see from the photos it looked like a very bad bondo finish. So, I decided to reorder another one, hoping I just got a lemon.Also the base was packed very poorly, in just a thin cardboard box with no protection. The box was open when I picked it up from outside.Praying the next one will be nice.

These came damaged and would not screw into the table tops we had. The round top part was bent. Instead of sending the back, we just made the best out of them and my husband had to try to bend them back to make them fit. 🥴

Pretty dang solid. It does what it's supposed to do. One of the 3 plastic caps on the leveling feet (on the bottom of the base) was broken upon arrival, but it didn't really affect the functionality of it.

If you're looking for a substantial build quality (think: commercial grade), this might be your answer, too. We're turning ours into a four-person game table, and we'd already fallen in love with tall (bar height) stools -- so we needed a 42" table. We really weren't liking any of the ones we were finding, and very few are the 36" diameter we need. We didn't want four legs interfering with the stools' legs, so we started thinking about bases, and having a friend help us make a top. This base appears to be the start we were looking for. Even on carpet, it gives every indication that it won't rock. If we have any trouble in that regard, I'll update this review.

The base was made of very sturdy materials. It just wasn't table height. The column was 34" high, so I would have to sit with my chin on the table. We returned it.
