The price is great so it gets three stars, but there are serious design issues and flaws. I own 2 bars, and I know from the quality and design, this would not last any real length of time in a commercial setting. However, I ordered this for the patio at my home, it will be fine there.The table base legs are uneven so the table wants to rock, they attempted to correct this by using pieces of adhesive foam stuck to the plastic feet. However the table still has a slight rocking to it. I can easily correct this myself, but in a commercial setting, the adhesive foam will come off easily within days, making the table rock considerably more.The packaging gets an F, 0 stars. The table and base arrive each dropped in their own box, with no protection of any kind. The boxes, especially the post, is an odd shape, with this metal flopping and tumbling around inside, and lots of empty space, so the box around this odd shaped metal post arrived ragged. The post arrived with a dent (see pic), and the plate to mount the table top is warped (maybe from the factory), or perhaps got bent during shipping (see other pic), I'll need to wack it with a hammer to make it more flat for mounting the table top.Due to the great price I was going to give it 4 stars as it will work for me at home, but when I saw the foam on the feet to attempt to keep it from rocking, foam stickers are so stupid solution for a commercial setting, I think bar and restaurant owners should beware. Fine for home use, maybe 4 stars for home (a star off for no protection in packaging and mine has some minor damage), and 1 star for commercial use so beware

I suggest adding a washer where it connects to the base (not necessary, but it seems like a good idea). After purchasing the tabletop you prefer, it's a great deal for a 42" height bar table.

Works great in my shed/shop recently built...height @ 42" is perfect & 30" top is perfect also. Gives us someplace to sit around with a cup of coffee or drink to plan things out. Just for fun, put a 28" TV in there with a military type leaf antenna, which gets 25 channels crystal clear.

I got this (along with a 2 x 2 foot table top from the same people) to create a stand-up desk. I work in a motorhome and needed something that was stable, yet with a small footprint, but that didn't take up existing space on the dinette table. I really like this table. The height was perfect for me. It is rock-solid. No really... very stable. Its heavier than I expected, but that's worth the stability.

Excellent product. SO STURDY, SOLID. VERY happy with this purchase. Buy with FLASH FURNITURE 24" ROUND TABLE TOP, buy 8 screws, and you are all set. Super easy to put together. FAR better than anything else I've seen on the market and rock stable. Could not be happier with this purchase. Save your time looking for options and go for this!

Honestly, there's not too much to say about a table base. What I can say is that the item was received on time ( a day early, I believe), was properly packaged (no damages)and was as advertised on Amazon. I've already put the table together and it seems sturdy. I have a small bay window area in my living room and I have my bird feeders outside and my home office off the living room. I wanted a small pub/bar set for this space so that my son could sit with me and do his homework while I worked on my business related paperwork. This will work well for us. Thanks to Clickhere2shop. They performed their part of the service as expected. I would order from them again.

I purchased this base together with a 24" table top, and it works perfectly in my small studio apartment. The X-Base is very convenient (as opposed to the circular base included with most small, pre-assembled bar tables) as it allows chairs to be pushed all the way in under the table when not in use.Construction is very solid, black rough matte steel, and the bottom of the base has small rubbery feet to avoid scratching the floor. The feet are ok-- definitely easier on the floor than the plain steel would be-- but I still added my own stick-on felt pads for extra protection.Unfortunately, my item arrived warped on one edge (likely due to shipping damage), but I was able to hammer it back into shape to avoid the hassle and delay of an exchange.My biggest complaint though is that my base did NOT include any assembly hardware, contrary to what another reviewer stated. Perhaps it depends on the seller. Although seller stated that the base pieces should just "snap together," this was very unstable. There is a long bolt built into the shaft of the base, so it's clearly meant to be assembled with hardware. I purchased my own nut and washer to secure the pieces together, and now it feels built like a rock. Screws to attach a tabletop were also NOT included and had to be purchased separately.
