The only thing I would complain about is the short screws. There are a lot of screws along both sides of the cover. I could not get them done due to arthritis but had to buy longer screws. Otherwise very sturdy.

Leveled up my 1966 Airstream Caravel with this hardshell propane tank cover and they are way more sturdy than I imagined for this price and went together in minutes with the provided hardware. My only complaint is that there is a small tab with a hole on the bottom in the middle of both the front and back and one of mine came almost completely torn off so I ended up drilling a 3/8" hole right above it so that once installed I was able to tie a small piece of nylon rope between the front and back that went under the tanks to keep it fully secured so there is no chance of wind pulling it off when cruising down the highway and maybe this was not even necessary as they are snug and practically form-fitted but I just figured it won't hurt and in the case it does need that little extra, my rig is already prepared and one less thing to worry about. All of the soft covers that I found looked good in their sales pages but when I'd look at the review photos they were all wrinkled and just didn't fit right and this cover checked all of the marks including being able to access the tanks without removing the cover and was almost the same price so this was a no brained and I'd buy it again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Heavy plastic, well built, easily assembled. Literally, less than half the cost of a similar Camco propane tank cover. I don’t know why anyone would want to spend over twice the money for the same item!?

It fits snugly and is made from heavy-duty plastic, so it feels really sturdy. The black color looks sleek, and it provides great protection for my tanks.

I bought the dual 30# propane tank cover in black. It is superior, by far, to the more expensive Camco version. The twist off ports are perfectly placed and seem to stay on well. As a precaution, I have installed very thin stainless steel tethers to keep the port covers attached in case I don’t tighten them or put them back altogether. Others have mentioned that it’s not water tight. I’m my opinion, that’s not necessary. The propane tanks, holders and attachments are all outdoor rated and don’t need to stay dry. If they get wet, the cover needs to be able to release the moisture instead of trapping it in. If the cover traps the moisture in, it could cause bigger problems. I believe that this product works very well and is a perfect upgrade to the original.

I purchased this Flame King RV propane tank cover to replace the stock cover after I installed a storage rack on my trailer tongue. The stock propane cover didn’t allow easy access to the propane and changer over valves once the storage rack was installed. I love the 4 strategically placed access ports that are provided on this cover rather than the single top access door that came with the stock cover. Also, with the storage rack in place, the cover must be split in half to remove the propane tanks. I had to modify the stock cover by removing the rivets and installing nuts and small bolts to hold the two halves together, but the top access door still proved a challenge. The Flame King cover already comes with the necessary nuts and bolts to piece together the two halves, so no modifying was required. Some might prefer a soft cover in a case like mine where a storage rack is used, but I live in a high theft area where propane tanks are a hot item. A hard cover provides a little more challenge to thieves who aren’t too determined. I highly recommend this Flame King propane tank cover even if you don’t have a tongue mounted storage rack. Oh, by the way, I have 2 - 30LB propane tanks, so it fits both 20 & 30LB tanks just like the stock cover did.
