Of all the lever grease gun models I have had over my life time, I was very impressed with the quality and how well it pumped up with the new cartridge.

I bought a fixsmith coupler to go with the gun. Super easy to attach and and fill. the gun doesn't leak when stored.

This review mostly applies to non-pros who don’t have a lot of experience with these devices. However some of my points will be helpful for pros too.The “ease of use” is horrible. If you’re going to risk purchasing this unit then I strongly urge you to watch some online videos with instructions on how to use and load a cartridge. The odds are very much against you getting this device to work so you need to learn as much as you can to have a slight chance for success. This manufacturer doesn’t provide a bleed valve which would make the device work better. Instead, they put a solid screw plug in the place where the bleed valve should go. This decision by the manufacturer probably saved them $0.50 per unit and made the device 50 times harder to use, no exaggeration.I would bet that most non-pros who buy this device not only don’t get it to work, they end up with grease exploding all around the area they try to set it up. These devices can easily air lock, especially without a proper bleed valve (!!!) and when they do the user will typically keep pumping to force some grease out. After some pumps the unit will be under a lot of pressure and when the user doesn’t find any grease coming out they may be tempted to unscrew the spout, top of cylinder, or the screw plug. When they do this they will be greeted by an explosion of grease. While this manufacturer made this device worse than it needs to be, this overall design that you find throughout the industry needs to be made better. A part of the reason why it has stayed the same is because of the standardization of lube cans and globalization. Someone somewhere needs to improve this and I certainly have no faith in this manufacturer, given that they chose to save $.50 on a bleed valve that would have given people slightly better odds of having a product that worked for them.I highly recommend you find a better product and regardless of which product you choose, spend some time learning how to properly load a line cartridge and prime it for use.Good luck, you’re going to need it!

Works real good if nozel is replaced. Went on zirk fitting with a bit of force. Pulled with all my mite to remove and zirk broke in half. Never could get it out. Bought 12 dollar quick release novel and works great. Still came out ahead of other prices.

I previously had a pneumatic grease gun, but I wanted a hand pump one as well. This thing pumps almost as fast as my pneumatic gun, was quite easy to setup, and appears very durable. If I had a couple of improvements to suggest:- The zerk connection is quite tight on the hose - hard to swap to a releasing zerk connection.- The grease gun takes up quite a large amount of space in a toolbox as the handle extends for storage.Just a couple nit picky things though - I'm happy with my purchase of this grease gun, and I believe it to offer tremendous value at it's price point (even more so on sale!)

Like that you can fill it with grease and not just tubes. Very sturdy solid construction and takes little pumping to fill back and front trailer bearings at once. No function issues. Good value for the price, money well spent

Loaded easily. Treads appeared good and worked well. Zerk coupler did NOT attached easy. Purchased a quick coupler the was hassle free. Added a grease zerk to handle lever assembly to proved easy hang up and dirt free storage. To load and charge grease work well used vent on top initial get it started.Would buy again if needed

Got it at at deal for Black Friday and so far I haven’t used it but it looks to be very good quality and finish. Bought the coupler for easier one hand use as well. I little tricky to install, but got on helps to install before you connect it to the main grease gun. Can’t wait to start using it.

This thing is made with some pretty thick steel. I expect this to last a few decades of use.Works well. My only complaint was that it was incredibly difficult to thread the hose on.This could be solved I think by adding a small chamfer to the inside edge, where it attaches.

If you are looking for a good set of tools to add even as extras i would get this. Easy to get too seems to be holding up thus far and i use my tools every day. Thought this would be some cheap metal and i would end up breaking them within a week but glad to see they are still working albeit a little dirtier than when i got them. Would recommend to anyone looking to add as extras or doing small house projects.
