HOW TO CHOOSE SIZE (See Video) Start by checking the back of your broken zipper slider; most zippers have a size number (1-10) embossed on the back of the slider. Once you know your zipper size, our sizing chart below will determine which FixnZip is right for you. If your zipper doesn’t have a number on the back, you can simply measure the width of the zipper teeth in millimetres or inches.

This work great I replaced the zipper on my coat and it was so easy. I love it never again would I take anything to the cleaners to have the zipper fixed. The quality is great. Price is great and it looks awesome.

I've got a big vinyl duffel bag used for diving and caving gear. Salt water had made the sliders corrode and get stuck. Was sceptical that this replacement would be able to zip the teeth all the way to the start of the zip - but it does and works great.Hardest part was cutting off the old slider. This was a tiny bit fiddly to install - but once on, works perfectly. Saved having to spend the thick end of 100 quid to replace the bag.Only improvements I'd suggest - make a heavy duty version that has a bit more meat where the pull toggle attaches and in doing so supply a stronger split ring.Very pleased.

I purchased this device to repair a broken pocket zipper on a pair of pants. It was very easy to install, and the zipper started working immediately upon installation. The price is not cheap, but I think it's worth it for apparel you care about or that isn't cheap to replace. My sole concern is that some reviewers have mentioned that their FixnZip has fallen off and gotten lost in the washer/dryer, but that FixnZip sent them a replacement. Hopefully, my replacement zip won't fall off in the washer/dryer, but regardless, it's good to know from the other reviewers that FixnZip will stand behind their product if that happens.

Zipper slider on my jacket broke, making the jacket hardly usable. Unfortunately changing zipper for this jacket is hard and would be expensive or impossible, but I don't want to discard one of my favorite jackets.Luckily, I found this repair solution. It worked as described, replacing the slider. Super-easy to install, thanks to the built-in screw with a spring. Color is OK, it is not pure black but is dark enough to look natural on a black zipper.The tightening screw sticks out a little bit, but not too much, visually OK.

This zipper worked perfectly! I have a Columbia kids jacket and they wouldn't help me fix as I bought it second hand. I found FixNZip and gave it a try. It looked super durable and was made of metal not plastic. A huge shout out to Ray and say how amazing the company was to deal with, so nice and friendly. I had initially gotten the large and it was too big so I called him and he sent me the medium and it was a perfect fit.Great value for the money & Great quality. Just great all around. If I could give him 10 stars I would.

I bought the FixNZip multi-size pack because I needed to repair the zipper on a leather jacket in which I had the liner replaced. The furrier said that they would have to replace the entire zipper, which would have nearly doubled the cost (over $200, and I provided the material). Since only the slider was broken, I decided to try to find a way to repair it myself. I found the FixNZip on Amazon, and it seemed to be the best choice. I was disappointed to find that I could not get it to work, even after downloading the instructions AND watching the video. I started to pack it up for return, when I read a note affixed to the package asking that I contact them first before returning. I decided to give them a chance. I called the customer service number and left a message. Ray, the owner, got back to me in less than 15 minutes. At his request, I sent him some photos of the zipper. While I waited, I tried to install it once again, trying both the medium and large size. I got the large to work, but only the upper part of the zipper closed while the lower did not. Ray sent me a text suggesting that it needed lubrication, and included a list of recommendations. I tried candle wax, and after fiddling with the thumbscrew, I got it to work. His suggestion never would have occurred to me. I am very happy with a "new" zipper on my newly restored 25-year-old jacket. It is a little rough-working at first, but it seems to have smoothed out with use. I am sure the candle wax has been a factor. While the thumbscrew makes it a little bulkier than I would like, I appreciate having the ability to adjust the tension, something I will be doing a lot of in the near term. My only concern is that the zipper tab is not as robust as the original. Time will tell how durable it really is. Overall, I would recommend this product. And, please, take advantage of their customer service.
