The felt die came with no instructions. Just 2 stickers with hooks. If you’re using this as a target, the constant lunges will tear the felt. The hooks don’t stick on the wall. The holes that go into the target for the hooks aren’t straight.I ended up buying a backer to secure the target. Will have to figure how to install on wall securely.

The quality of the materials on this target board was decent, depending on the intended purpose. For fencing foils (which aren't sharp, fyi), I think it's durable enough to last. The product description says it's also for archery. I'm not an archer, but if you're using real arrows, this isn't going to hold up. It isn't very thick, which suits my needs as a fencer, but it's not going to take repeated impact from sharp metal of any sort. I like how this target is slim and doesn't take up a lot of space, however I think hanging a ball from the ceiling and hitting that is more beneficial than a stationary target like this.To mount this, there are two adhesive patches with small metal hooks on them. I decided not to use them, because the adhesive doesn't look like it'll come off the wall without damaging it. This isn't like a 3M strip. In all fairness, I didn't actually test it, but just peeling back the protective film and touching the adhesive, I won't want to put it on my house. I ended up propping up the target in a chair, which worked for practicing point control.BOTTOM LINE: I can't speak for all sports, but as a fencer, this target is usable and doesn't take up much room, however I wouldn't use the adhesive to hang it up. I think it could be helpful in a beginner fencing class or children's class, but may not be as useful to more experienced fencers. I'm skeptical that this target would last more than a few minutes against anything sharp, such as arrows or sharp weapons.
