The fit is good and my brother who is a diabetic loves the ease of putting them on and the adjustable flap - No laces!

I always have trouble finding good shoes for my feet because my right foot is swollen so I always have a hard time some part of the shoe always bothers me.I'm so glad I found these they are very customizable to your feet, The Velcro straps allow you to fit it just right. What I found out is the best is you just put your feet in and then take one velcro strap from the left and then tighten it and then the one from the right and then tighten it rather than trying to do them both at once.Very good cushioning and support, I usually wear 11 wide, I figured I'd try the 11 wide X and they worked out pretty good.Definitely recommend to anybody who has trouble finding shoes to fit their feet and need to customizable ones.

These shoes are comfortable and have plenty of room for swelling feet. I got a size 11 and 1/2 extra wide and you can get into them almost without having to do any thing I highly recommend these shoes

Purchased for my dad who has always had unbelievably wide feet. At the time I ordered these he was struggling with excessive swelling, so his feet were as round in diameter as they are long. Finding shoes for him has been difficult for his whole life. He had been wearing some adaptive slippers from another brand for a few years but they still weren't wide enough, and only had velcro on the outside edge, so they'd constantly slip off. I was worried these wouldn't fit either, but they are absolutely perfect. The ability to place his whole foot inside, and not fight to slide it in has been a game changer for him and his mobility issues. The soles are nice and grippy on the slippery vinyl plank flooring in his unit, the velcro is wide and holds securely, and his feet aren't bulging out the sides. He normally orders a 6E width shoe, but told me he finds most shoes still aren't wide enough. Not these FitVille extra-wide ones, though. He keeps telling me how much he loves them, every time I see him. I cannot recommend these enough for anyone with large feet who also struggles with mobility and edema issues.Based on others reviews I did order a half size up, and I think I could have stayed with his regular size, but so far there's no issues with the little bit of extra length. I suspect the sizing issue other buyers experienced and reported in reviews may have been due to the shoes being listed by their UK size, not the North Ametican size. Either way, very happy with this purchase. Will definitely return to this company when he needs another pair.

I'm a fat dude (430 lbs at 5'10") so I'm on the lookout for roomy comfortable shoes that tolerate my massive bulk while I'm exercising to get less fat. These ain't it. The Velcro enclosure presupposes your feet are long and skinny, and that you never walk or run anywhere. I bough the Size 11 double wide and the Velcro enclosure did not fully close, and would tear open just from me walking around the apartment. My fellow fat bros, this is not the shoe for you.

The shoes are just what my husband needed with his edema in legs and feet. He can now wear shoes that are comfortable as well as good looking. The fit is perfect in extra extra wide.

These are exactly what's needed for swollen feet. The adjustable tongues and wide toe allow for a very comfortable fit. They are durable and look smart.

I was looking for a pair of shoes that I can easily close over my swollen foot. Most with Velcro don’t look great and close from the side, so there’s still that tight fit on one side of the foot. But these shoes are brilliant, opening straight up and closing on both sides. So there’s no rubbing against the foot and there’s room to put a more stable insole inside. They’re better quality than I was expecting for the low price. But the sole is too squishy and the inside is equally squishy and doesn’t provide any support. But at least now I can go out in public without looking like a bum - wearing untied, stretched out sneakers. Just bought another pair as backup. Ordered a1/2 size larger than I normally get, because of my swollen foot, but otherwise I think they’re pretty much true to size. Hope the manufacturer got a patent for this closure design . . . Fantastic!

Easy to put on, good for high arches and sore feet and big feet. Great that you can adjust width depending on sock size, foot swelling etc. good grip for a casual shoe. I’m buying a second pair and my partner a pair. I will use one inside only as slippers. Very happy with them. And I find it very hard to find shoes that are comfortable. I don’t have diabetes, just sore achey large feet.

I was looking for walking or running shoes, 4E wide. I'd been buying these for years from BA Mason Co., but they went out of business. Similarly, Brown's New Balance in St. Louis, I bought online, went out of business. In Amazon, I was looking for replacements for the same shoes I'd been using, but which got worn down after several years. Looking at the info for these Fitville shoes, called "walking shoes", I got the impression you could walk, run, exercise as needed, but they had the added bonus of "extra roominess" in the front for diabetic swollen feet. I'm severely diabetic, but only have swelling on my shins, not on my feet. My feet are lean but super wide. My brother bought some shoes online that have extra room for swollen feet, but those came with numerous inserts to take up the extra space in the toe box and around the heel. So, they could be adjusted to a perfect fit, he says. (Like me, he needed them for extra WIDTH, NOT HEIGHT. 6E wide.) So, I bought these Fitville walking shoes, thinking they would fit everywhere on the foot normally but with optional extra height in toe-box which didn't hurt anything if you didn't need it. Also, the other reviewers raved about the velcro wings with opening in the center, saying that allowed more perfect fitting than any other design. When I got them, tried them on, I found they're way too loose all over the front, and all over the heel, and the velcro wings cannot be closed tight enough to be effective. The wings can't be extended far enough on each side. So, the shoes slip and slide all over my feet, or my feet slip and slide all over inside them. They cannot be used for any walking, let alone running. My biggest impression is these are only "walking shoes" only if you're walking with a WALKER, very slowly and gingerly. Further, they'd be best for sitting in a wheelchair with these super loose shoes just protecting your feet from the hard footrest. So, I sent them back immediately, I can't use them for anything (I'm not in a wheelchair or walker.) Extra inserts were not included to fill in the excess space, as my brother got with a different purchase. If you lack mobility, and need walker or wheelchair, only then do I recommend this purchase.
