I got this for my 4 year old grandson and although he is too young to assemble it on his own, he and his father had a great time working on it together. This is a toy that enhances hand-eye coordination and improves the ability to reason. Assembly may be straight forward for an adult but a child can learn by following the instructions to assemble the various pieces together. This toy can also tickle a child's imagination. I think it's a good STEM toy.

These are big, chunky, solid, construction kits. My son played with these for hours on the first day. He loved putting them together with the dinosaur screwdriver. They are a great quality plastic, with heavy duty parts that can't get easily lost or destroyed.The premise is that you build these as spaceships, and then you transform them into dinosaurs, you get a lot of choice, starting with T-Rex and going to Triceratops and Pterodactyls.

I hate buying toys like this for my boys. They break everything in a matter of hours and it’s garbage and I’ve wasted money. Toys just aren’t made like they used to be? But this. Excellent. My almost 6-year old is obsessed and hasn’t put it down, and it has withstood tantrums and a couple of throws from my almost 3-year old. This is going to be hours of fun. It is just complex enough that it is interesting, but not so much that it is beyond my boy’s capabilities. Very very happy mama and would highly recommend.

Has the potential for 10 different varitions for creation. Bought 2 so that they can have one that is space and one that is dinosaurs. A little bit of assembly is required but similar to some of the other assembly animal and car toys there are these days.

There are lots of good things going on with this toy. We have both the space and dinosaur themes happening, so that is an always a big win with our grandsons, and keeps the imagination working and there bodies moving. There is the assembly aspect, which is good for hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills. The get to learn a little about following directions and using tools, all be it with some direct instruction and supervision to get everything right. Overall, I am pleased with both the quality and the thought that went into this toy!

I ordered the Fistone Space Toys and Dinosaur Toys, 10-in-1 Transforming Set for my grandson as a future gift. He is at an age where he likes to take things apart and put them back together. This set is just perfect for him. He is also into dinosaurs and space vehicles. There are so many pieces and you can transform them into different toys. Plus they can plug into a central hub to create a space station! The battery compartment is on the bottom and it creates various phrases and sounds. It's hard waiting to give it to him for Xmas.

This toy combines two of my classroom kids favorite themes; dinosaurs and space. They are having a great time creating with the sturdy parts and engaging building options. I have never seen this combo of themes in a toy before and am thrilled to have this in my classroom
