So, I 1st bought my husband a drone. Well...he put the drone in a very big pine tree. After he tried shooting out the branches, we borrowed the neighbors very tall ladder to get it out. Needless to say, the drone was done for. So, I bought him a tank, his Dad was a tank commander, with the hopes we wouldn't have to get up in trees to remove it. So far, he hasn't had to shoot it out of any disastrous situations, except our Norwegian Elkhound did flip it over. He loves it. It has a long lasting battery. It's tough, thank God!

The manual that came with the tank has too much Chinese and not enough English. There is no instructions on loading BB pellets, where to load and also what is in the small pkg of Small black pellets nothing about smoke, Every thing is left up to guess work. ps. I am an old guy who needs lots of help. Thanks gary Thorne

It's not often your expectations are exceeded in the toy category. I rarely write reviews but this tank has so many useful features and the build quality is great. When the price was reduced in December down to $79 I jumped on it an glad I did, my 11 year old son loves it. It shoots white plastic BB sized balls. It recoils. It has suspension. It has realistic sound effects. It has several guns, all with sounds effects. The icing on the cake is the steam that looks like exhaust coming out the back. If you have a child that appreciates a unique RC toy this won't disappoint.

As a radio controlled tank, this is pretty awesome for the price. I wouldn't call it a collector piece; the scale is off in places, and it's not really an exact match but it's close enough for a toy. The unit looks great, but we'll be looking at removing the decals. I did notice some loose screws on the road wheels, so that's just something to keep in mind (like with any RC model), check it over every once in a while and make sure nothing is coming loose.My daughter instantly fell in love with this tank, although it was the first of 3 different models to arrive. She had a blast with it in the front yard but we did find that while "spinning", the tracks were biting into the grass too much and came dislodged. It makes sense and I would just advise against doing 360s in the grass.There is volume control as noted in the manual. The sound effects are pretty cool, and the transmitter vibrates on shooting. It appears that the machine gun sound only works when spinning the turret one way or the other. The recoil effect is pretty cool even when not shooting BBs out of the cannon, but kind of cooler when you do as the cannon does move in & out (probably to load the BB).Overall this is a great RC Tank for the money; it's more of a toy but that's just fine if you are planning some tank battles in the backyard. The included Commander is OK and seems a tad loose in his hatch... I suppose he's a target during battle!The included manual is, well, not the greatest but if you go over it a few times, and look at the photos, you can get through it. It took us a few head scratching moments to figure out the volume, trim and machine gun operations.And if you didn't know, the cannon on this tank does shoot airsoft BBs. Do not point it at anything you don't intend to shoot, like people, animals, etc. Always be safe! Know your target and what is behind it.
