I had to go to the post office to pick up and sign for it. For a cheap bit of plastic. Waste my time. Buy it from another seller. Just a dumb way to ensure a bad review.

I bought this for my son when his 4th grade class started angles. The moveable arm really helped him to visualize what the protractor was trying to measure. It can be a bit hard to figure out how to align the protractor to measure existing angles, but he got the hang of it pretty easily. I recommend this for any child that needs a hands-on way to understand angle measurement.

I am using this as an aid to estimating angles/perspective in beginning drawing. I like that the numbers are vivid (mine are purple) making them easy to read and that its swing arm is sturdy. It is very well-made and worth the price over cheaper models available.I

My little boy had an abstract art project for school that required drawing lines and half-circles. We decided that a protractor was a much better choice than a compass and ruler (easy to use and straight edge included). THIS WORKED GREAT!!! It is completely smooth (no raised lines & numbers) - so, easy on the hands. It maneuvered easily ... both lines and circles, flipping and sliding. And, the price was something to smile about (since I had to buy all those other expensive art supplies!) Happy mom here... Thanks.

This is a review for the Fiskars Plastic Swing Arm Protractor, Set of 1.I purchased this for my daughter who is entering fourth grade. It's a well built protractor with the ever so useful swinging arm for easy drawing. As I am getting on in the years, I wish I had one like this when I was younger. Such a fancy protractor!I don't plan to buy another until my son is in fourth grade. In the meantime, I am pretty sure this will hold up for my daughter. It will likely get lost before it is broken, which is the fate of most protractors. Likely there is some place in Eucledian space where all the lost protractors go...I'd recommend it for the early geometry student.

I originally ordered this from some other place to use on the PE exam to read psychometric charts. That place was a bit cheaper in shipping. But that place told me after a week they didn't have them in stock. this was a bit annoying since the exam was getting closer and I expect the store to know right away to know if they have items or not. Then I canceled my order there and ordered at Amazon and it arrived quickly. For the future I stick with Amazon if it is just a few ct price difference since they actually know what they can deliver.Anyway, unlike other protractors that are not see-through, this one is good to use to on a psychometric charts to estimate air flow rates with sensible heat ratios etc. I looked at other models and they looked quite retarded to use, even when they were more expensive. It is not rocket science.
