Every child is a creative genius, and the only limit to their self-expression should be their own wildest imagination. Fiskars Training Scissors & Activity Book (Ages 3+) was developed with pediatric occupational therapists for small hands and creative minds. It includes one pair of scissors and 30 pages of activities that help teach kids how to cut and inspire them to create. Fiskars Training Scissors have safe, plastic-covered blades with a blunt-tip. The scissors include a special training lever that can be switched on and off to help children learn the fundamental open-and-close cutting motion. Scissors handle is easy to grip and control with wide, symmetrical loops. The activity book pages can be colored and cut. When kids use the scissors with the activity book, they learn how to open, close and move scissors while snipping and cutting long lines, curves and angles on simple shapes. Ideal for ages three and up and suited for both left- and right-handed use.

Grandson has fun with this. Learning more scissor skills. Instead of using glue, it’s better to use a single hole punch and gold fasteners (brads) to connect the cut outs.

This product saved my printer ink lol. My daughter LOVES to color and cut out shapes. Before I found this book I would find shapes online to cut and print. This book really helps improve her cutting skills and much more creative than finding random shapes to cut online.

I bought this to support my toddler’s fine motor skills and it has significantly helped to improve his cutting ability. The scissors are very safe for small children and are easy to use. My son asks to use his scissors everyday during our craft time. The product is of good quality and offers good value for the money.

I didn’t know this would have sharp metal, the weird locking mechanism is confusing and bulky as well. Great concept but keep an eye on the user doing it.

My toddler and I loved this book and it came with the toddler scissors. The activities were age appropriate and got more difficult as time went on. The toddler scissors are good quality but the blade got more difficult to use over time. The scissors are safe and will not cut flesh but still monitor just in case. It wasn't required but we also colored the activities then cut them so that was added motor skills practice.

The book is great. The scissors broke after one use, and my boys were not hard on them at all.
