These work great. They are smooth to operate and do NOT catch or grab onto branches or leaves. Smooth cuts and ready for the next slice each time you squeeze the handles. As someone without much arm strength, these took on a lot of the power needed to work efficiently. Definitely makes a difference to get the 3X power.

Holy hedge, Batman! The Fiskars 23-Inch Hedge Shears are like the superhero of garden tools! 💪🌿 With the PowerGear2 design, it’s like having a personal trainer for your hedges—3X more power on every cut! I’m pretty sure I could take down a small tree with these bad boys. The blades are sharper than my wit after a cup of coffee! They glide through branches like they’re made of butter. I almost felt bad for the hedges—almost. And let’s talk about the SoftGrip handles with shock-absorbing bumpers. My hands didn’t just survive the trimming session; they threw a party afterward! No more feeling like I just wrestled an octopus. If you want to feel like a hedge-trimming ninja, these shears are your secret weapon. Five stars, and I’m ready to take on the world—or at least my backyard! 🌟✂️

Bought this to replace our hedge trimmer that just didn't have enough power to do the job. Takes a while to clean up the hedges but very happy with it

I don’t have shrubs , but I do have 9 perennial beds. I use these to cut back and they are amazing! Also use them on my prairie grasses. Cuts right through them.

Fiskars is a respected product in our household (scissor, fabric cutters, etc.), and this hedge trimmer seems to be great also (but needs more usage before final verdict). The Amazon packaging however, was terrible ! The box was too large and there was absolutely no padding to protect the shears. As a result, the product's plastic guard was broken (protects the blades and also provides for hanging the item on a nail or hook). Luckily the cutting capability seems OK but this is the worst shipping prep I've ever seen from Amazon, and I receive quite a few packages. Most products, even inexpensive items are very well padded, sometimes to excess - this one had no protection whatsoever and it was in an oversized box - not a good combination!

Fiskars is one of those brands that you pay for what you get. I know I paid more, but I expect this to last a lifetime. So far it has performed flawlessly. I use it to trim back japanese knotwood from the sidewalk the city has neglected and other overgrowth. These are good enough to even cut grass. Extremely easy to clean the plant juice off with a wet paper towel.

Son caras según yo, pero la verdad si es una herramienta bonita y que se ve de calidad. Si la volvería a comprar.

This was a present for my father- he was very impressed with this make of secateurs so went with the same brand. He seems happy with them. Packaging was a little damaged in the delivery, which was a shame - though tool intact. Forest offered money back for this which was nice.

The tool seems well-made and sturdy. The blades are sharp and they cut well. I'm not using them on a hedge, rather, long bladed leaves on some flowers my daughter planted. The Clipper handle them well, except if there is something else growing up within the leaves that is sort of 'twiggy,' then the blades get hung-up. I remember that these things used to be more robust when I was a kid. Oh well, they should get the job done, which is all that matters.

lightweight - Did not use as a hedge trimmer. Used to cut back for fall clean up on huge bleeding heart, hostas and ferns - used to prune back bushes - Neighbour borrowed and I ordered a new one for myself as I could never find mine when I needed it -Quick - easy - nice clean cuts.
