After I crushed my previous belt in the door of my truck I needed a replacement. This is perfect, actually better than the wading belt that came with my waders.

When it comes to safety you should pay attention to your gear. My old belt was starting to stick in the buckle release. This was a good option to replace my old one.

WORKS AS EXPECTED. NO ONE WANTS TO FALL OVER AN FILL UP A CHEST WADER. THIS BELT IS NECESSARY. WHEN THE CHEST WADER FILLS UP WITH WATER. YOU HAVE A REAL PROBLEM, AND THAT CAN END YOUR LIFE.

I bought this after looking at some other quick release nylon belts, main thing I was looking for was the plastic buckle and heavy gauge nylon for travel or getting through airports faster. Plus yes some outdoor use and like the plastic cause it doesn't scratch metals like when washing the car for example. It maybe more suited fishing, I wouldn't know but for any other it is just so-so. I would assume comparable belts work similarity...in the end is this a nylon belt with plastic release buckle? I was attract by the price and reviews.Unfortunately I give it a so-so rating. Not taken that the nylon is not very thick or or high gauge quality as I have with some nylon belts with metal buckle that are quite sturdy. This material is strong enough but just doesn't seem sturdy in my opinion, I prefer some firmness in my belts . Easier to get through the loops is what I found. Hanging anything on this thinness I am just not getting overall. This isn't a true compliant but the it is under 1.5 inches width, compare it to the Bison 1.5 and the width difference is noticeable as well as the thickness.Buckle is solid and works well, side bar some not so good slip is what I noticed, I almost see cause of the thin nylon, hard to hold tension with that light thickness and slippery surface.After all this I decided to make my own nylon belt and order a roll of better grade nylon and double ended plastic release buckle. Problem solved and will give this one to my son.

Easy to adjust. Well made with quality fittings. I only took off a star because I'm a medium size female and was barely able to make it small enough.

Bought two; one for son who immediately used it for fly fishing in the Green River, Utah. It worked beautifully. Son is a big guy and the fit adjusts just perfectly. His friend was a wiry dude, a bit on the thin side and again, it adjusted perfectly' This is a must have for those who fish, use waders, use a pontoon (hubby's float of choice). It keeps water from building up if a person falls in the water or tips over. Will be ordering more for gifts! GREAT PRODUCT; AFFORDABLE! Highly recommend this product.

I bought this for my husband and he says it can't be beat. He uses it fishing, wading the Florida flats. It holds his pliers and a small bait knife.
