Ok items. Only problem I have is the strength of the “lock” when fully extended.It’s not that strong and when used with a small amount of force it begins to close up on itself.

This was my only wish for Christmas!! I live in South Florida and the cane toads are big enough to put a saddle on. I wasn’t always able to kill these toads because I was using a shovel but now that I have this frog gigger they all die. (Better them than my dogs) I like the fact that it extends and has a light. That really frees up your hands to get a good accurate kill. The pole is sturdy and The barbs are extremely sharp and do the job. It’s definitely worth the money. Order one now! Matter of fact, I ordered another one for a friend

This is a well constructed spear. The pole feels solid and the adjustable cam locks works well and does not slip. The spear head is solid and super sharp. Just be careful when removing the protective cap because the individual spears will spring outward and will slice you if your finger(s) are in the way.

This is decent and I like that it can be made short for easy carrying when not in use. But there is nowhere to attach rubber tubing for use as a sling. That's a major design flaw!!!

This is exactly as it states. I wanted to have on the boat for when we are at the ocean we could kill the Lion fish. The only thing I was expecting was the forks to be withdrawn and you'd hit a button and they'd shoot out. It's actually sticking out and my husband thinks that's too dangerous to store in our boat having limited storage.

I have always wanted to try my hand at spearing/gigging. When I saw this I knew this was my chance. The barbed prongs and outward angle will just about guarantee that whatever you target won't escape. The handle is adjustable to whatever your needs whether you are in a boat, wading, or on the bank. It also comes with a small flashlight to see your quarry. My only complaint is the light isn't that bright but it does light up the immediate vicinity. I can't wait to go out and try it out.

I have not got many harpoon/spears but this one is pretty decent. The pole looks sturdy but the locks are cheap plastic and i could see these easily breaking with frequent use. The spike end is a custom screw on attachment to the pole which I dislike, id rather it use a universal screw for these extension poles like for rakes/brooms/squeegees/etc so if the pole ever broke you could easily replace it with another. For functionality though it does the job for as long as it holds up. I recommend keeping the spike cap to protect yourself and others when not in use.
