This 328ft fiberglass fish tape arrived in a substantial package, but the included cage is a welcome feature for organized storage and transport. While fiberglass fish tapes are known for their rigidity and potential for breakage under excessive force, this product performed adequately as a backup option. The cage's design facilitates easy handling and prevents tangling, making it a practical tool for running cables through conduits. Despite the inherent fragility of fiberglass, this fish tape offers a reliable solution for various electrical and telecommunications installations.

I tried to use this in 2-inch conduit with one sweep 90, it didn't work. Went back to a twisted poly tape and that worked perfectly. This one might work in 3 or 4 inch with a bend or two, but this seems to be made for mostly straight runs only. It's super stiff, easy to push through with a lot of force, but not as flexible as it appears when wound on the reel. The steel reel is well-made, but it's fairly basic. No handle to make winding it easier. Good value for the money if this is what you need.

This is one great fiberglass fish tape in my opinion! It has been very easy to use and functions well to unreel off the spool the necessary length and then retract. The rod diameter is a good size for most applications and has been able to make it through the bends in my conduit runs with no issues at all. This product is a good value at this price point and is well made overall. It looks and works great and is on par with other more expensive fish tapes I have used in the past. Therefore, this product earns my five star blessing and recommendation for sure!

This Fish Tape Fiberglass Cable Puller is a reliable, durable, and highly functional tool for anyone needing to run cables through tight spaces. The 328ft length and 6mm diameter allow it to easily maneuver through narrow gaps, sewers, or walls, while the fiberglass construction offers excellent rigidity and durability, making it perfect for both indoor and outdoor installations. The compact aluminum cage is lightweight and portable, equipped with a top handle for easy transport and a guide ring to help maintain control while running cables.Whether you’re working with telecom, electrical, or utility installations, this tool is designed for versatility. The excellent elasticity ensures it can handle bends up to 130°, making it suitable for a wide range of applications. While it’s great for professional jobs, the ease of use and compact design make it accessible for DIYers as well.

Got an almost 300' UG osp (actually 2x) 2" and this is great. Strong enough and long enough. My only issue is that the reel.has no crank... not for pulling but just to pull back onto reel. But reel is perfect and stand is solid.

Really kinda hard to work with =Easily snaps if you get any bend on it at all. Not bad in 4" but not for smaller conduit.

I've used lots of short fish tapes for interior walls - this time I was faced with a pull thru a 200 ft buried conduit. This tape is GREAT...but there are a couple things to know since there were no instructions with it.A) it s a fiberglass rod that 'wants' to be straight B) it is coiled inside a cage. C) you have to dig around a bit in the cage and find the end, and - VERY important - thread it thru the little metal ring that is welded onto one of the support stand's legs. See photo. D) Once you do that, the rod will want to be straight - so it will start to unspool, whether you want it to or not! You need to be careful and keep it from unspooling by itself faster than you can feed it thru the conduit. The rod is smooth - I did not use gloves and did not get any splinters (though it would not be a bad idea to use gloves anyway). I just with I had more conduits to pull wires thru!

As an internet cable tech this duct rodder has saved me a ton of frustration!! More often then not, we will arrive to install services to an underground service neighborhood where the builder failed to install a pull string within the conduit. No pull string means you’re on your own!!I use to use a shop vac at one end of the conduit to suck a pull string through the other side. Nifty trick that works sometimes providing no water has entered said conduit. If you start pulling water the shop vac trick can cost loads of time. A standard fish tape isn’t ideal either as they tend to be too flimsy and bundle up within the conduitThis duct rodder was my perfect solution. It can drive through water filled conduit and it’s fibreglass structure has plenty of rigidity. The reel frame is solid and winding the line back into the reel goes like a hot knife through butter
