I bought this lightweight book when my grandson was three months old. It was the perfect size for ease of holding, and the length was ideal for his attention span. Bright colors and textures throughout, with a mirror ending.

I must say I was thrilled to come across this veryCool book it’s a nice size with so many cute things for them to touch and play with as you read it. I bought this for a One year old, and yep he has manyhand me downs from his siblings so this was a Fun gift from grandma! Okay and from grandpa too!

This little cloth book gets five stars from my 3-month old great-grandson. He liked the squiggly octopus legs and the bright colors, and the "mirror" that showed him the baby face. He was too young to latch onto the teething ring, but sure looked like he wanted to! I don't live near him so I don't know how it washes, but it's quite sturdy.

This is a very nice and affordable cloth book. It has pretty much all of the features we'd like in a cloth book: engaging, helps with teething, holds up to drool/spit ups, easy to clean, and safe to use. It's also a good size that most babies should be able to grasp even if it's on the bigger side. Baby would sometimes enjoy playing with the crinkly parts and other times enjoy the octopus' tentacles. The ring part is also great for teething due to its texture and contrast.Note about the ring though. While it can be used to attach the book to other things (like strollers or bags), it seems to be easily removable by baby, so keep that in mind in case you think of travelling with this because you may lose parts or the whole book due to detachment when baby plays with it. Perhaps best to keep this one at home or at least placed inside a bag and not attached to the outside.I've read some comments about how the mirror part fogs up after a go in the dryer, but we haven't tried putting this in the washer/dryer. We've just spot cleaned or wiped this even with some spit ups. I also just checked the clean/care instructions and it said it is machine washable but do not tumble dry. Air drying may be best if you do end up washing this.
