It's s super tight fit on my Breville Bambino portafilter but it fits. It does it's job. Nothing fancy or extrea. It just works

This item fitted my Barista Express portafilter very tightly. So tight that i had to sand down some of the metal on the 3 clips to prevent too damage to the portafilter and prevent the clip from bending and damaging the structural integrity of the funnel. Worked great and it pushes the grind switch on the machine easily. Seems very high quality besides the clip being too tight.

Coffee is expensive and I got tired of spilling it while filling the portafilter. Found this thing and it works great. It is built solid and fits my Breville Bambino portafilter perfectly. Way less spilled ground coffee. I am sure it will pay for itself in no time plus way less mess to clean up!

Breville should include at least a plastic version of this with every portafilter. I chose stainless steel for durability and non-stick. It fits perfectly on my Bambino Plus, and a horrible messy task is suddenly easy. And the tamper fits into it so I can pre-tamp before removing it.

What a simple and great accessory. I opted for the stainless steel model and it feels weighty and of sturdy construction. No flex or flimsiness. It secures snugly, not loose, and doesn’t rattle. No leaking of coffee grounds around the seal either. It makes tamping your grounds much easier and results in no mess and no waste of grounds when they’re being dispensed. I bought my Breville machine on Amazon and it didn’t include this, but have seen it included in the package of bought directly from Breville. Either way, it’s a priceless accessory that’s a must have for all Breville owners.

THE SHORT: This greatly improved my espresso workflow using a Breville Barista Express. It's particularly useful when using a WDT tool.I purchased the stainless steel version and I would recommend the extra $10. I tested the concept first with a 3D printed version of this I found on Thingiverse. And it proved the validity of the product to me, but made me realize that the higher polish on the stainless steel dosing funnel is cleaner and more efficient. The rougher surface of the 3D printed version (and likely the aluminum ones) held onto some of the coffee grounds meaning I had to rinse it off regularly as ground accumulated on the surface. I have not had that issue with the stainless steel one.The device rotates easily and securely onto both the included Breville Portafilter and my after-market bottomless portafilter. The greatest benefit of this is that I no longer spill grounds all over the counter anymore when making coffee. This is especially true when using a WDT tool, I can focus on breaking up the grounds without worrying about spilling. When I need to remove it, I give it a gentle tap on the counter (on a folded rag or a tamping mat) and rotate it off with no spilled grounds.This device is well made, durable, functions as intended, matches the aesthetic of my machine, and has significantly improved my espresso making process. I would not hesitate to buy again, and recommend it to all home baristas.

Absolutely one of the best investments I've made in regards to helpful gadgets! It fits like a glove on my portafilter, goes on snug but without a struggle, comes off with just the right amount of force as well. It also fits perfectly into the grinder on my Breville Barista Express, which is a huge added bonus. I like that the walls of the funnel are snug to the basket so nothing gets stuck where the funnel meets the basket, and the process of tamping is much cleaner and smoother.The actual quality on this piece is amazing. Feels sturdy and high quality, and the machining of the metal is very precise, which adds to the feeling that this attachment was MADE for this portafilter and machine. Literally you would think this came with the Breville machine, in my opinion.My biggest reason for purchase was that the basket overflowed when dosing my grounds for the doubleshot. I would have to tamp slightly and fill, rinse and repeat. It was not efficient. Now, I just add my funnel, grind into the basket directly, tamp once, and it's ready. Much more convenient.All in all this is WELL worth the price and investment. Makes the coffee-making experience SO much more fun and easy. Definitely recommend anyone who wants to elevate their espresso set up to grab one of these!!
