Firewrap is essentially a repackaged version of FiberFix repair wrap or any other fiber tape repair kit. Not sure what’s “patented” about this but it’s the exact same thing as stuff that’s been around for years and these guys just curbed it towards the fire service at double the cost. You can snag a 2 pack of fiber tape here in Amazon for 15.98 that have everything minus the small paint brush, small thing of paint and rings which can all be purchased for about $5.Does it work. Yes. Same as the others out there.

Definitely a long term grip system! Easy to install and super durable. Best part is that it can be cleaned and doesn’t adsorb any of carcinogens it’s exposed to. Thanks for making a great product!

I like the fire wrap a lot. The only negative is the liquid polymer paint. I was surprised how it didn't hold up nearly as long as I expected. Attached pictures are 2 weeks after a touch up coating. Total of 4 weeks on the tool. We do train quite a bit for further context and not all from use on incidents. Other than that great product.

Used on 3 fires now on my axe, holding up great. Just make sure you put enough of the liquid grip to ensure the fiber glass doesn’t gray. And many thin coats, not a few thick ones.

absolutely the best fire tool grip on the market I have it on 3 of my hand tools a mini halogen a mini axe and a new York hook I will not use anything else....
