I was getting tired of my son not holding the pencil correctly and wanted to improve his hand writing skills. After about 3 weeks I noticed he wasn’t using it anymore. He was holding the pencil correctly and his writing had made improvement. I will continue to have him use it time to time so he doesn’t go back to his bad habits.

The product title says they can be used for adults, and being one myself with small fingers and grip problems due to tendonitis and carpal tunnel, I gave these a shot. My fingers hardly fit in the holes, and I can't use them for a long period of time due to pain in my finger tips due to the compression of the rubber. Please bear in mind, I wear child sized rings, and I can't get my fingers in these grips. They're waaaay too tiny. I was able to use them while waiting for a different set to come in without sticking my index finger in, but then the whole "finger posture" thing is out of the window, so make of that what you will. They are incredibly well made, though, so three stars.

Great product!! I bought this product for my 6 yr old daughter to correct her pencil grip. It came in 4 different pastel colors, blue, pink, orange and green. It is made with rubber so it is soft to touch and user friendly. Awesome quality. I would definitely buy this item again.

I purchased these pencil grips because my Grandson had spent most of his Pre-K school year holding his pencil incorrectly. I started trying to show him the proper way but he was so used to the other way, that he would quickly slip back. After ordering and using these grips, it didn't take him long to get the idea of how I wanted him to hold his pencil. He started off asking me to help him put his fingers back into the grip, then he would put them in there by himself, until gradually he would start off writing with the grip and then write some without the grip, until he eventually stopped using the grip altogether. He holds his pencil correctly now without me correcting him! My other Grandson learned easily with the little triangle wedges added to the pencil. However, if you have a child that is greatly struggling or determined on holding a pencil improperly, I highly recommend these grips...they worked like a charm!

We love these SO much! I bought them for my four year old son when I discovered his preschool hadn’t taught him how to properly hold a pencil and he took to these grips so easily! He especially loves that he can use them with either hand as he’s ambidextrous! The only issue I had was when he pushes too hard, they’d slide down off the pencil, but a quick ring of hot glue around the pencil fixed that. I highly recommend these and might buy another set for the school to have on hand for other kids.

Got these pencil grips for my 2 & 4 year old. My 2 year old is greatly benefiting from these grips because his way of holding a pencil is comparable to a quarterback holding a football. He wipe grips the pencils and writes while his hand is vertical up. No idea why. These grips put his writing hand in perfect form and the thump enclosure is genius. His writing skills improved only after the 2nd usage. Hopefully his fingers muscle memory can maintain his perfect form without these grips but time will tell. The material is very comfortable and doesn't irritate my son skin. I recommend these for any preschool kids who need to learn proper writing skills form.

I purchased these for my grandson who is entering the first grade. As an artist, I understand the value of learning to hold a pencil correctly, and am saddened when I see adults clutching pencils in awkward ways. But learning to hold a pencil correctly can be painful, creating blisters and writing calluses. After shopping around and reading reviews, I settled on Firesara 2018 pencil grips and sent them off to my grandson. My daughter was thrilled. Her feedback was that they are very soft and hold fingers in the perfect position. They are far superior to the triangular pencil holds she used as a kid. They fit her son's fingers and also hers, although she doubted they would work for a man. And she liked them so much she kept the pink one for herself to use. She will be recommending it to the preschool staff where she works.
