Works as described very nice cabinet for the money. I have to say I was very impressed with the quality of the packaging. It does come fully complete. No assembly required. (Other than bolting it to the floor or wall. Be wary of the cheaper ones. A lot of them have to be put together. I will post an update after about 3 months.

It's number lock with backup keys and keyed inside little box. That's where you keep gold and diamonds. For me it is what I want. 5 guns I got 3 in it 2 with scope. Sure turn them sideways. It would easily hold 1 more in the slot. And you could fix something on each side and get 2 more. But I got what I wanted. A got another safe that is my pistol safe by bed. With all my $100 in it which is one now. I did put some ammo in this rifle safe. No gold or diamond here. You can put pickup key's in gun safes you know and whatever else that needs put away. I thought about 2 pictures of where it is but nah. I will say know one but me has noticed it. Buying a safe and telling everyone isn't smart. But then telling everyone about your guns wasn't either. It will keep kids out.

got this pretty quick. it took my wife and i a little while to figure out how to change the combination but once we realized the sequence of bunch of button pushing including having to press the button INSIDE the safe the SECOND time that prompted to put in the new code. that part is not really clear in the manual so be aware of it. for the money it seems like a pretty good safe, it's definitely not theft proof as i'm sure if i had my cutting wheel i could cut right through the side of it, HOWEVER if you do put it in a closet or somewhere that you can't get tools on either side i'm sure you'll be fine.

First not a bad little safe for the money. I stored 1 scoped rifle in it and maybe because of it’s set up I may have room for one more scoped bolt action. The battery’s do not come with the safe so go get 4 AA batteries for the keypad and 4AAA for the mini light that comes with it. A pleasant surprise was a LED light that is in the hinge side of the door that comes on when you open. It’s not very bright but in the dark you can see just fine. I also had to wiggle tue red reset button to make the connection so I could set the PIN
